These are not quite like those cute little pot bellied hairy dolls of the 70's. No, these are the people who go around and purposly give specific people low ratings on posts and pictures. While I'm sure we all have people we just don't agree with, or even like, not all the people here resort to this tactic, I'm guessing. Or hoping, rather.
So why am I posting this? Honestly, trolls don't bug me. In my mind, a troll is a petty person unhappy with how thier own life is going, and can't be happy unless they do something they perceive will make other people miserable.
I just smile and imagine someone bent over thier keyboard, finger pecking away while cackling as they rate people with 1's. I like to imagine long stringy greasy hair, yellow teeth, bad breath, and a serious stink surrounding them. They probably have a bathrobe on that has seen better days, and they likely have assorted food wrappers, serving dishes, and junk around thier computer space.
I like to imagine the woman trolls have facial hair, much like a gully dwarf would. Long beards, with crooked noses, complete with a big black hairy mole. Your typical trolling female will be grinning the whole time, revealing her missing teeth to glorious perfection. She will be talking to herself as she types, telling everyone that they are getting what they deserve!
The man will be snorting frequently, and picking the ear wax from his ear, then picking his teeth with the same finger. He has food stains on his shirt, which is too small to cover the massive pale hair covered belly portruding from under it.
He is probably less vindictive than the female troll, who hates all females with equal opportunity.
So, why am I writing this? Well, points obviously. But I'd also like to test a theory another woman posed a few days ago- do articles with Gather in the title get more reads & comments? Equally, she says that posting them with an adult warning will get more reads & comments. Since I have not said or posted anything that requires an adult rating yet, I'll get that over with now.
Damn.
