Some say they should go down the day after New Year. Others will say they should go down the day after Christmas. We take them down when we damn well please. The Christmas tree usually comes down sometime in late March. The lights around the house come down sometime in early spring. True champions of the season are we. Why keep them up? A better question might be: Why put them up in the first place? What other lighting fixtures do you put up only to take down? Those questions can only be answered thusly and in this order. For Christmas and none.
When is it too late to give someone their Christmas present? I will accept Christmas presents any time, any place, for any reason. Those who complain about late presents deserve no presents.

Like you, I too would accept Christmas presents at any time of year.
I guess I have OCD when it comes to Holidays. Put your decorations up but take them down when the month of that certain holiday is over!!
