I am generally opposed to posting anything that is not original but this is an exception. The bulk of this article is a verbatim copy of a document that is making the rounds of the internet. It was written, quite seriously to be distributed and it is possible that some of you have not seen this, or any of the other similar and, sadly, all too true versions of the same information. A similar document was published before the theft of the last election (which just might recur) but, of course, it was without the most recent glorious achievements of this administration.
What triggered my decision to publish this? A faint hope that someone may read it and learn something. Today?s pronouncements from the ?decider? were stimulated this hope. Surely, even the most dense and benighted among us will be outraged by today's story in the continuing saga of justiying the killing of tens or hundred of thousands. Today, Mr. Bush has forgotten all about weapons of mass destruction. He has forgotten the noble motivation of ?bringing democracy (about which he has no clue) to these poor people. Today, he has pronounced that the occupation of Iraq is to preserve a reasonably priced supply of oil. I guess the unconscionable profiteering in oil might be threatened if the supply were affected and out of the control of the favored few. Finally, today, a thin approximation of a corner of the truth. Actually, even that is too strong because the sequence of events as related by Mr. Bush is an absurd fabrication. But at least the word ?oil? was spoken aloud. No excuse or even recognition of the previous string of outrageous lies was forthcoming but, in apparent desperation, the ?decider? retreated to conceding a shadow of the real motivation. Oh, it is for the American people, of course, not for the cronies who are selling six packs of Coke to our troops for $45.00 and charging outrageous prices for needed body armor. His motivation to occupy Iraq is for the American people, that is Bush, Cheney and Rove?s American people, all forty or fifty of them. Not us, we?re customers, loyal folks who actually produce for the chosen few, or enemies. If we don?t believe that he is doing all of this for us, then, by definition, we are ?enemies.? How many barrels of oil is a life worth, Mr. "Preident"?
I?m sorry; I was planning to simply introduce the document below. I just couldn?t control the need to editorialize, pointlessly, because the whole truth would occupy volumes and is barely introduced by these remarks. I know the facts below will change few, if any, minds. Anyone who can read and does not see the truth by now is probably incapable of responding to facts. So, this piece will ?preach to the choir? for most and fall on deaf ears or blind eyes of the few.
Just around 30% of the population (31 was the last figure I saw) will still say, when asked, that they think George W. Bush is doing an acceptable or good job. The illiteracy rate isn?t that high so, presumably, some of these benighted folks can read. Perhaps a few could even understand the question and meant to respond in that manner. These few, totally refractory to reason, or for purposes of their own, will not be persuaded by any facts, but I shall post this, anyway and hope it brings two people to their senses. Perhaps it will galvanize a few more to actually take action at the polls. And perhaps enough of the real votes will be tabulated to make a difference. Dare we hope that a few of the good people who have empowered the evil merely by their inaction, will now take action to stop it. There are good people out there, aren?t there?
So get out and vote. Hope your vote will be counted and be just a little more optimistic tonight than you were yesterday. Here, at last, is the point of this post:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
LAW ENFORCEMENT
I was arrested in Kennebunkport, Maine , in 1976 for driving under the influence of alcohol. I pled guilty, paid a fine, and had my driver's license suspended for 30 days. My Texas driving record has been "lost" and is not available.
MILITARY
I joined the Texas Air National Guard and went AWOL. I refused to take a drug test or answer any questions about my drug use. By joining the Texas Air National Guard, I was able to avoid combat duty in Vietnam
COLLEGE
I graduated from Yale University with a low C average. I was a cheerleader.
PAST WORK EXPERIENCE
I ran for U.S. Congress and lost. I began my career in the oil business in Midland , Texas , in 1975. I bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas . The company went bankrupt shortly after I sold all my stock.
I bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took land using taxpayer money. With the help of my father and our friends in the oil industry, including Enron CEO Ken Lay, I was elected governor of Texas .
ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS GOVERNOR OF TEXAS
I changed Texas pollution laws to favor power and oil companies, making Texas the most polluted state in the Union .
During my tenure, Houston replaced Los Angeles as the most smog-ridden city in America
I cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas treasury to the tune of billions in borrowed money.
I set the record for the most executions by any governor in American history.
With the help of my brother, the governor of Florida , and my father's appointments to the Supreme Court, I became President after losing by over 500,000 votes.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PRESIDENT
I am the first President in U.S. history to enter office with a criminal record.
I invaded and occupied two countries at a continuing cost of over one billion dollars per week.
I spent the U.S. surplus and effectively bankrupted the U.S. Treasury.
I shattered the record for the largest annual deficit in U.S. history.
I set an economic record for most private bankruptcies filed in any 12-month period.
I set the all-time record for most foreclosures in a 12-month period.
I set the all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of the U.S. stock market.
In my first year in office, over 2 million Americans lost their jobs and that trend continues every month.
I'm proud that the members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in U.S. history. My "poorest millionaire," Condoleeza Rice, had a Chevron oil tanker named after her.
I set the record for most campaign fund-raising trips by a U.S. President. I am the all-time U.S. and world record-holder for receiving the most corporate campaign donations.
My largest lifetime campaign contributor, and one of my best friends, Kenneth Lay, presided over the largest corporate bankruptcy fraud in U.S. History, Enron.
My political party used Enron private jets and corporate attorneys to assure my success with the U.S. Supreme Court during my election decision.
I have protected my friends at Enron and Halliburton against investigation or prosecution.
More time and money was spent investigating the Monica Lewinsky affair than has been spent investigating one of the biggest corporate rip- offs in history.
I presided over the biggest energy crisis in U.S. history and refused to intervene when corruption involving the oil industry was revealed.
I presided over the highest gasoline prices in U.S. history.
I changed the U.S. policy to allow convicted criminals to be awarded government contracts.
I appointed more convicted criminals to administration than any President in U.S. history.
I created the Ministry of Homeland Security, the largest bureaucracy in the history of the United States government.
I've broken more international treaties than any President in U.S. history.
I am the first President in U.S. history to have the United Nations remove the U.S. from the Human Rights Commission.
I withdrew the U.S. from the World Court of Law. I refused to allow inspectors access to U.S . "prisoners of war" detainees and thereby have refused to abide by the Geneva Convention.
I am the first President in history to refuse United Nations election inspectors (during the 2002 U.S. election).
I set the record for fewest numbers of press conferences of any President since the advent of television.
I set the all-time record for most days on vacation in any one-year period. After taking off the entire month of August, I presided over the worst security failure in U.S. history.
I garnered the most sympathy for the U.S. after the World Trade Center attacks and less than a year later made the U.S. the most hated country in the world, the largest failure of diplomacy in world history.
I have set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously protest me in public venues (15 million people), shattering the record for protests against any person in the history of mankind.
I am the first President in U.S. history to order an unprovoked, pre-emptive attack and the military occupation of a sovereign nation. I did so against the will of the United Nations, the majority of U.S. citizens, and the world community.
I have cut health care benefits for war veterans and support a cut in duty benefits for active duty troops and their families-in-wartime.
In my State of the Union Address, I lied about our reasons for attacking Iraq and then blamed the lies on our British friends.
I am the first President in history to have a majority of Europeans (71%) view my presidency as the biggest threat to world peace and security.
I am supporting development of a nuclear "Tactical Bunker Buster," a WMD. I have so far failed to fulfill my pledge to bring Osama Bin Laden [sic] to justice.

I would like to talk about a baseball player who did not have a good childhood and who was orphaned. He was an undisciplined student in school. His personal life has at best turbulent. He put baseball in front of his family. He failed to coach his beloved team at the end of his career. His health deteriorated and died from cancer.
Hearing the bad news would make you think this guy was aweful. But, here's how Babe Ruth is remembered.
He is one of the greatest baseball players ever. He has the record for the second most home runs in baseball. Fans from around the country would come to just see him play. He was a career 342 hitter and his pitching record was 94-46 with a 2.28 era. He had many other great achievements as well.
Maybe you should include both sides of the story in your article as well.
If that absurd analogy to Babe Ruth is the best you can come up with, then 'res ipsa loquitor.'
But lets not credit Bush right? He must be a total failure and its obvious that you want to fit that into your agenda any way possible.
The Babe Ruth thing was to make a point. There's always another side to the story. Don't you know anything about stories?
I just want people to present both sides here and not just firmly slant one way. Isn't that the way we should reason our arguements?
The Bash-Bush rhetoric has gotten way out of hand. I do disagree with him too on some issues, but I don't resort to slander and personal attacks. Thats a foolish way to argue. Wise up people!!!!
Of course people are bashing. As well they should be. what is scary is that some people are blind to all of the above and feel the need to defend the bastards with insignificant bullshit.
Tax cuts that put money into the economy?? Are you kidding? He borrowed so much from the future that BEFORE THE WAR we had a six trillion dollar change in the national debt, going from a slight budget surplus to the greates deficit in history
in his firsdt three years AND IT HAS GOTTEN WORSE SINCE! Put money int the economy, hell; he put it into the oil companies, the pharmaceutical companies, the munitions companies, and most of all, into Cheney's companies. Gas prices coming down? From what? From the greatest rise in cost, percentagewise and in absolute dollars, history by many fold. What, you think it's good that they came dowm 20 cents after going up $1.80 (or so) since he took office? ALMOST ALL OF WHICH WAS DUE TO WINDFALL PROFITS, NOT COST, NOT SUPPLY. i DON'T BELIEVE THAT ANYONE ACAN ACTUALLY SWALLOW THAT BILGE!
OK, let's review, ALL of the "achievements" you mentioned were actually aspects of great disasters, but maybe, just maybe, he is not ALL bad. maybe he was kind to some old lady (it would, of course have to be a rich one), maybe he loves his mother. Maybe he has some redeeming quality. DOES THAT MAKE HIM PRESIDENTIAL MATERIAL? ARE YOU KIDDING?
Lori, I hate to tell you but affordability of new houses by the general population was announced last week to be at an all time low. That virtue is about as true as his great fiscal stimulation by deficit spending that exceeds many times the previous highest. We haven't even mentioned education, research, the environment. His disasters are legion. His accomplishments and what he has done for the country in any positive way is a very short list. ZERO. You know that.
Perhaps the most telling statistic is that, for the first time in history, (so far, and it's almost over) not a single Democrat in the congress lost a seat. That had never happened to either party before. Want to spin that, Ron O?
"Wise up people!!!!" ??
You wise up, sucker!!!! The "people" apparently did.
Here we go again. Its just like all the other gather people. I say 1 thing. 1 THING! and they want to get all crazy on me and shoot politics left and right. You guys act like Bush is the biggest failure in history. He has a family, he is a business man, was governor of Texas, he's trying to lead the country....and yet he hasn't done ANYTHING RIGHT??????????????? If your answer is no, then there is no use trying to argue with you.
If your one of these people who bitch and complain about everything, but don't vote, then your just part of the problem. If your not part of the solution then your part of the problem. Voting gives you the right to bitch.
"Even if that were true, Ron, do you honestly feel that your ability to buy a house balances all the lies, deaths, dismantling of the Constitution, and over-all corruption of the present regime?"
If I answered that question (whether yes or no) then that means that I admit that this so called "regime" has dismantled the Constitution and the whole corruption, lies, deaths, and all that jazz. I don't believe that and any rational thinking person would not believe that. That question is like me asking you, "Why are you gay?" The question assumes that its understood that you are gay. The fact is that I don't know that information yet. We havn't established prove of that. Therefore, just like your question, it's an illegitimate question.
Do me a favor. Take an English critical thinking class and learn how to argue.
Apparently, the majority of the American populace agrees with me given the election results... and Yes, I did vote an absentee ballot. Why on earth would you assume we don't vote?
My key word in my post was "if". But if you took that as an assumption, then the reason why I stated that is because I get so tired of running across people who cry and complain about the way things are, but yet don't vote. I apologize if I offended you or anyone else on here. My intention was to make a point; Not to offend.
The state is # 1 in childhood asthma and childhood cancers.
Saint Joan, what do those things have to do with Bush? Please explain that. I could complain to my governor about how bad car accidents are in this state. But, just because its happening in his state does not mean its his fault. It could be just bad driving or some other fault not associated with him. Could that be the case in the situation you brought up? Again, the fallacious accusations pour in. Unless of course, you change my mind with a reasonable arguement.
"You guys act like Bush is the biggest failure in history." No, but he is the worst president in history. That includes such Lulu's as Ulysses S. Grant, who at least had the "excuse" of being drunk all the time. I think the bottle would have improved Bush's performance or, rather, a return to it. Maybe he wouldn't have done so much damage. Those faults listed above ARE his faults; they are not coincidental to his presence.
Try to make a distinction between being a total failure and being a total failure as PRESIDENT. This is not an arcane distinction. And I DO vote.
"Those faults listed above ARE his faults; they are not coincidental to his presence." I highly doubt its all his fault unless you could provide some evidence.
You begin with a statement that is, at the very best, tangential to anything I said. I assumed, at first, that you were kidding. Having been disabused of that kind misperception , I tried to make sense of whatever it was you were trying to say. My best translation is that you were making the point that everybody has a good side. OK, fine. I still had no idea at all of what that had to do with my point, but I saw no reason to argue with it. Foolishly, however, I tried to explain that warm and fuzzy as that was, it had nothing whatsoever to do with qualifications for a presidency. Now, in response to that, you suggest that I take history classes, evidently because I failed to list all of the presidents of the United States and their acheivements or failures. Perhaps you were suggesting that there were, in this list, somewhere, somebody or bodies who were worse presidients than GWB. Although I disagree with that, I would have been willing to listen to your list and your reasons. You gave neither, finishing your "argument" with a comment that appeared to be some refutation based on yopur persuasive argument that you, "highly doubt." Demonstrate your history courses. Name some worse presidents. No, on second thought, don't. There is no point in reifying this farce any longer.
As to your last killing and persuasive blow to my argument, the one that proved I was wrong because you doubted it, I can only say that of course it is possible to trace the disasters of the Bush administration to Bush. The thread of events that flowed from each of these "decider's" decisions is quite traceable. But I have neither the heart nor the inclination to make these connections for you. Moreover, from the above responses, I have no reason to believe you would understand them. I will, however ammend the somewhat hyperbolic accusation to state that, no, he wasn't alone in creating all the disasters. He had the bumbling assistance of his cronies and his puppeteers, now all disgraced.
As far as the whole education thing. I apologize if I offended your intellectual abilities. That was not my intention. The reason why I stated that is because I run across way too many people who assume they know what there talking about, but don't. My assumption about that on you was off the mark. I can only ask for forgiveness.
Now, as far as the whole president thing. Look, you've got to look at the intention here. There are president in our past who intended on doing the wrong thing and tried to get away with it. Examples are: Clinton and his sex scandels, then he lied about it, Nixon and the Watergate scheme, Grant and his bad behavior. Now, I know a lot of people would like to included Bush in that list with the whole Iraq thing, somehow Bush is all unconstitional, Bush lies everywhere and everyday, ya-de ya-de ya-de on and on it goes. You have to ask yourself this. Was it Bush's intention to do wrong, just like what the former presidents did above? Was that his intention? How do you know? My question is NOT was it wrong but, rather was the intention wrong? I'm so sick and tired of all the fallacious accusations against him when there is no basis for the arguement. Of course he has done some wrong things. Yes he is human. It happens. What I see out of him is that he tries and doesn't bitch and wine about how bad things are how things should go. An example would be yesterday when he gave his speech after he lost the both the House and the Senate. Instead of crying and complaining about it, he joked about and got some humor out of it. I'm glad he just trying to stay optimistic. I'm sorry if I offend you when I give my president the benefit of the doubt in a time of war. I'm sorry if I'm just trying to support my country in the best way I can when its most needed. Is it ok to disagree with him? Of course it is, but just don't blow it way out of proportion and make a propoganda speech out of it. I thought we worked off of a justice system that stated "innocent until proven guilty". Does that not apply to our president? The attitude seems to be guilty no matter what and if we don't find something, we will manipulate it and ruin his reputation. All I ask out of these people on gather is to be a little more considerate to the guy. Take into the account this guy has a wife and two daughters. Don't you think this stuff is affecting them?
He lies, flagrantly, about the economy every time he opens his mouth about it, but you would have to know something about economics to understand that. He lies about his record in the service, every time he talks about it but his records have been "lost" or sealed when anyone checks. Nevertheless, no matter what they say, he has blatantly contradicted himself about them, repeatedly. We don't need to access them to prove he is lying. Flat out contradictory statements can't all be true. He had a receiver on his back to couch him in his 'debates' AND THE IMBECILE STILL LOST. His response to being shown the pictures? Oh, that's not really a receiver, it just looks like one because the shirt (and apparently the jacket) were poorly ironed. Maybe he couldn't do better than that. The village idiot would have immediately accused the pictures (all of them) as being doctored but, no, Bush utters a blatant absurdity.
I'm sorry, there is no point to this, anymore. If you really believe what you are saying, if you can really deny masses of clear evidence, ignore the consistent array of facts, then you are obviously not going to be persuaded by any more facts. If you can continue to say what you are saying, and really believe it (with which I still can't come to terms) then facts have not, do not, and will not matter. If you can maintain a straight face and compare sophistic fudging about a blowjob with lying and invading countries, killing civilians, breaking the treasury, breaking international treaties, blatantly ignoring (and denigrating) the constitution, increasing the rampant industrial pollution, manipulate two federal elections, etc., etc., then there is no point in further discussion and I cannot say that I am glad YOU vote. THIS IS NOT SUPPORTING THE COUNTRY! This is hastening its demise. I care about his wife and childre and the world he is destroying for them. I also care about 300,000,000 Americans and citizens (civilians) of several other countries.
When proven facts, undeniable facts, obvious facts, and the kind of behavior that has wreaked so much damage to the country and the world do not matter to you, then I see no point in continuing this exchange.
I see you have turned the tables on me with your response. A true political move. If you wish to read my rebuttal against your argument, then read the next post.
"How can you possibly say he is not a deliberate, constant, repeated liar?" First of all we have to establish a premise on whats a repeated liar. Is lying more than once in your life a repeated liar? If thats the case, don't we all do that? Is lying more than 2 times a week a repeated liar or how about every single day? In that case, I really don't think he is an intentional liar. I believe he is a true patriot trying to do whats right for our country. I know I may be an "idealist". But, if your an American don't you have to be an idealist? Our founding fathers were when they set up this government.
"Try: Thursday the second of November (also other days surrounding it) "Rumsfeld is here for the duration," repeated, again and again. Wednesday, November 8th: " Rumsfeld will be replaced by Gates. I have been looking for a suitable replacement for a week." Tell me which one of those statements isn't a lie. Actually, I think both were but it doesn't matter because one of them certainly has to be." Ok....There are 3 things I got to say about this. 1). The key word is duration. Duration basically means a period of time. But, its not specific. According to Bush's wording of duration, that could mean a day, week, month, year, century. WHO KNOWS WHAT THAT COULD MEAN? Doesn't sound like a lie to me. 2). It says Bush was looking for a replacement for a week. From the 2nd of November to the 8th is six days. That sure sounds like a week to me. What do you want exactly 7 days to the second precisely? 3). Rumsfield resigned which means he took the intiative and quit. Do we know if Bush had knowledge that he was going to step down on that day?
"He lies, flagrantly, about the economy every time he opens his mouth about it, but you would have to know something about economics to understand that."
Really? He says the economy is strong. Well it is strong. So yeah I believe that. I do know something about economics. Now I could jump all over you for that, just like you jumped on me for the educational thing, but I'm not going to do that. Your welcome.
"I cannot say that I am glad YOU vote." OUCH! So your not glad that I take advantage of my right as an American to be a part in the Democracy process? That hurts.
"When proven facts, undeniable facts, obvious facts, and the kind of behavior that has wreaked so much damage to the country and the world do not matter to you, then I see no point in continuing this exchange." So now you jump to the assumption that I don't care about facts. You've got it wrong. What I don't care about is the propoganda speech. I condemn that just like I condemn the personal attacks.
Regardless of sophistry, though, are you really incapable of seeing the difference between repeatedly lying to engage in war and to cheat on your wife? Every time you say something this unbelievable, I have to go through the process of convincing myself that you are not having a good time just to stimulate a response. I'm still not 100% convinced you actually believe the unmitigated drivel you are spouting. And if, indeed, this isn't some twisted joke, then your belief that you care about facts is a complete delusion.
Jump on me for economics? I don't think so. The "jump" would be over a cliff. It is inconceivable that anyone who actually knows anything about economics, you, or anyone besides the Bush cabal can say an economy with a shrinking GNP (by the measures that they used before he doctored them even more than they already were), very high unemployment and staggering "underemployment," record levels of families below poverty, and a deficit (and consequent debt) so high that it will cripple the economy for decades or forever. GOOD?? Once, again, you've either got to be kidding or refractory to the facts that you say you "care about." This economy is so crippled that it will extend into the far future before there is even a possibility to bring it back. It's temporarily "good" for Haliburton and the oil cartels and incredibly disastrous for the rest of the country. The only indeces you mentioned that were "good" were housing (it's plunging like the Republicans, and has been for months) and the stock market, which is not a measure of a good economy. Economics? History? The 1929 crash followed exactly the kind of debt inflated stock market rise that we have now, as did Bush's crash.
" So now you jump to the assumption that I don't care about facts. You've got it wrong. What I don't care about is the propoganda speech. I condemn that just like I condemn the personal attacks."
Again, an assertion contrary to everything you say. The only "facts" you seem to care about are those that come from the blatantly twisted Republican propoganda machine, all of which are ludicrous. The actual data? The actual events? The real situation of pointless, dangerous, and self defeating war? All of the things that they can't hide, all of the FACTS that anyone with eyes can see, these, to you, are prpoganda. The sad and absurd assertions coming from the mouth of the subject himself, declaring a teetering economy to be good and declaring himself to be a patriot (which is why he is killing Americans and civilians in a war he lied about to enter, and why he is ignoring and attacking that "piece of paper" that others call the constitution); these are the "facts" that you are defending. Once again, you must be kidding. Nobody who can read and write could possibly continue to make such statements without serious mentation problems,AND ACTUALLY MEAN THEM.
Voting? I feel semi-bad that I said that. I felt semi-bad before and while I wrote it. I was overcome with the frustration that such willful refusal to understand the situation could actually contribute to the continuation of a disaster. I would never, no matter how bad I felt about the behavior, ever actually interfere with anyone's right to vote, even the deluded. The prindiple id too important. But as a TRUE PATRIOT I can feel sad for the outcome of deluded thinking that can contribute to a situation so dangerous to the country and the world. Even with the degree of frustration and contempt I feel for the behavior, I could not even impede that right. Incidentally, that philosophy is certainly not shared by the Republican party who (documented, again and again, personally proven by my own observations) tried mightily to disenfranchise anyone they thought would vote against them, maybe all over, but I can attest, at least, to Ohio and (by data from reliable others--I didn't see it) Florida and New Hampshire. No, I would not disenfranchise anyone. I would try to persuade and enlighten but when such efforts are completely fruitless, I allow myself to mourn the vote. I am NOT "glad" about your vote, but I am irrevocably determined that you should have such right. I must put my faith in the hope that enough people can see the truth that it will, eventually prevail. The ultimate consequences of not having that roight are as bad as the consequences of a horrible electoral outcome, and less likely to be reversible. Let me emphasize that, once again, the evidence is overwhelming that the Republicans did everything they could (in two elections) to disenfranchise many voters. This was certainly not the first time for such perifidy, from both parties. It is a well established practice. But this time it was done on an unprecedented scale. It was 'off the charts' and much worse in degree, but not unique in kind.
I am committed to your right to vote. I am delighted that the right obtains. I would never impede it at all. I would probably help you exercise it if that were necessary, but I would not go out of my way to persuade you to cast it and Iwould not be glad.
Tell me, are you kidding in order to rile me up? As absurd as your arguments are, I can't escape that suspicion. If so, you got me-- but please have mercy and stop. I can't seem to stop myself from trying to reason with you despite the obvious uselessness of the effort.
To answer your last question; No I'm not kidding and I am actually serious. I am not riling you up. Your doing that to yourself. I'm not calling you any bad names and I am not at your house throwing punches.
I'm not going to debate with you anymore since you have asked me to stop. So I will. I will skip debating all the other stuff with you for that reason. I think you have some things mixed up and I know you will same the same thing about me. But this is what makes this country so great. Its a place where we can share our views and not have to worry about being punished for it. Have a good day Howard.
The Taliban had cut down the production of poppies (drugs being the scourge of our western countries). I have since heard since the invasion poppy production has never been higher. Me thinks that that was a tactical manover. As the envolvement now of the Taliban they are now wearing the blame. I have also been informed that other than agriculture in the planting of the poppies their is very little income from any other source. These countries are now in ruin. The story has changed and the removal of Iraq's ruler was the cause of the invasion. This is a blantant lie. The people of Iraq for surely now wishing that the man and the country that was once intact is now rubble with none of the necessities of life. Best to pull out and leave them to fight it out, but it would be nice if in doing so the powers that persecuted them leave them a little oil with which to rebuild. The plan worked, Bush came to power just as had been planned by his father and his rich croonies. Speak up, speak loudly as you the people of America have the power, that was proven in Vietnam and again today.
