From the INNER SPRINGS NEWS Police Report Today

May 30, 2008

POLICE REPORT:

There was a disturbance reported at midnight over in the area of the town hall. It seems that two persons were having a loud discussion of the pros and cons of the park bench recently installed in memory of our famous peace activist who's now in federal prison for life. The two persons were just beginnning to engage in fisticuffs when police officer Hiram Canoodle interrupted them. They were encouraged to go to their homes, but were given the option of receiving summons to Town Court, or possibly even their own stays in county jail. Officer Canoodle says the two went home.

I am assuming Officer Canoodle is a Peace Officer? And what of the peace activist who's now in federal prison for life? I would like to sit on the bench and find out more...

I'm tickled with this whole thing - I'm beginning to see reporters coming forward and I can hardly wait to see what their emerging characters will do over time. What kinds of businesses will advertise, what's happening in the schools and so forth, what kinds of spiritual and religious groups show up and what's on their menus for potlucks.......So much potential for fun here.
