I was tagged by Darcey D and at first I thought, "Oh no not again!" But then I embraced the weirdness and developed the following list, and it was kind of fun. Here goes:
1) Certain people now refer to me as Lucy because I unintentionally get myself into situations similar to those of the redheaded comedienne Lucille Ball on the TV classic I Love Lucy. I consider this a great compliment, as she was both a gifted actress and a brilliant, successful businesswoman. However, certain people persist in saying that I was given the nickname because I'm weird. Read my article A Batty Story and decide for yourself.
2) My article Menace was inspired by The Turn of the Screw by Henry James, a psychological thriller - or was it a supernatural allegory? The debate still goes on, a century after it was first written.
3) I don't have a scanner and I broke my digital camera (cameras don't work when you drop them on cement) so I only have two pictures that I downloaded onto my computer ages ago. I'm continually reinventing those pictures for use on Gather, until the time when I can get a new camera. See my goofy images here.
4) I love cats. I admire cats. I wish I could be more catlike in everyday dealings with humans, particularly by hissing, spitting and slapping without warning when someone crosses my personal space. See my article Judged by Cats and/or join my new Gather group, Cute Things Cats Do.
5) I do my best to reciprocate when someone comments on one of my articles and/or images. I feel this is weird because it seems that only a few people on Gather do this. I estimate that for every ten to fifteen comments I give, only one person returns the compliment by commenting on my items. I'm not bitter, just very, very sad. If you feel guilty now for not commenting, please do yourself a favor and visit my Gather homepage here.
6) I learned to make clickable links from reading Landen Michaels' handy-dandy article How to Make Clickable Links on Gather. And yes, he has created a monster.
The rules: If you have already been tagged or you don't want to play, I don't blame you. And you don't have to do this unless you want to participate (but it is a good way to get points and get to know your fellow Gatherites a bit better than you really want to know them). If you are tagged and you do want to play, you must list six weird things about yourself. Then you must list six people and let them know that they've been tagged to play the game. My six taggees are:
Suz H (Look! Lucy learned to link!)
Annette E (interesting observations on life)
Chris Carlisle (who should be getting more points for his funny articles)
Trudy P (a newbie so let's make her feel welcome!)
Dani D (she likes games)
And a free pass for someone who hasn't been tagged yet but wants to play!
Ta-ta for now!

I'm glad I tagged you again this list was great ,and thanks for the info I have wanted to know how to create links for ages now. Donna you might like to invite a friend of mine to your group ''Cute things cats do''. Her name is Ruth MacGill and she lives on an Indian resevation in a mobile home, with about a dozen cats,She is a wonderful writer who always has a story or two about her cats.I used to watch I love Lucy every day when I was young and she certainly was a tallented funny woman, as are you Donnalucy having read a few of the stories you mention here, I think you are a very good writer. And don't worry about the amount of people who read your articals, I still believe with time and seeking genuine connections, you can acheive your goal of becoming a better writer. But I know what you mean , it seems I write a story or a poem and recieve half the comments as an artical like this, maybe thats why people just end up publishing games and all kinds of articals not related to their own original writing. Great list Donna,
Darcey D
I'll look for your friend - she sounds like the kind of person I created my group for!
