Today is the day. Rings were exchanged, vows were made. Even the signing of the paper it was made final. Yet as their arms are linked and the toast have been made. There is a certain look in her eye as she stares not at her new husband, nor at the person behind the camera.
The cake has been cut and each fed the other, why then is this woman looking so intently behind her husband? Is she looking for a way out? Is she looking at a lost love? They are both so young to have made these vows. Is she now wondering if she has made a mistake? Or is she even thinking deep thoughts? Maybe she is concentrating so she doesn't spill anything on her beautiful dress.
Her dress was made out of seven yards of white satin. There are beads that go around the neckline and around the sleeves. Each bead was lovingly stitched onto the dress by her mother. But no, even the dress is not running through her mind. So much tragedy goes on in her head but despite all of the bad that she could be thinking, the thoughts that are running through her head at this moment have nothing to do with anything wrong.
Her thoughts are racing, this morning they were engaged and now they are married. They are standing at their reception accepting the toast that were made. Her eyes are focus on the clock on the wall behind her new husband. All she can think about it the moment that they could escape. Escape to the honeymoon given to them by their family.
As their glasses are lowered he sees her smirk and leans down to whisper in her ear “just a few more minutes baby and then we can go. We can leave every one and every thing behind and head to our Island getaway”. She shivers as she hears them implications of his words. He has told her in vivid detail what he plans to do to her just as soon as they are alone. Just the slightest mention of this brings a twinkle to her eyes and a blush to her cheeks. He takes her glass and sets it aside. Politely he says to their guest “If you will excuse us for a moment we need to change out our formal wear into our casual wear.”
Her friends rush to help her to get out of the dress but he stops them short at the door. “Ladies, we appreciate your help but this time I will help her with the dress.” Her friends scurry away giggling. First he removes the pins that are holding the hat/veil in place. He lays them to one side as she removes the hat. He takes the hat from her and says “No,let me please” Again she shivers in anticipation.
He walks around behind her and pushes her hair to one side. He begins to drop little kisses along the nape of her neck. Ever so slowly he lowers the zipper on her dress. It almost falls in a heap around her feet but he knows how special this dress will be. He holds out his hand for her to hold onto as she steps out of the dress. He catches his breath as he realizes she wasn't teasing as she whispered to him at the beginning of the ceremony that she was wearing no panties underneath.
There she stood in her camisole, her thigh highs and her heels and nothing else. Instantly the air in th room changes. He kisses her with all of the passion a young man can feel on his wedding day. One kiss leads to another and they quickly remove his clothing. Neither can wait until the honeymoon starts. For them it started as soon as they said “I Do”. Their marriage was consummated right there on a table in the room beside the reception hall.
With a smile on their faces and a blush to their cheeks they return to the reception area where the guest have been mingling. Only a few are aware of what they were doing and why it took so long to change. If any questions were asked, she replied with an angelic smile “ Oh my zipper was stuck and it took forever to undo it without ripping the dress.” Soon anyone with questions hear the answer of the zipper.
One more toast and hugs to everyone, and the line was formed for them to leave the church. Everyone was encouraged to pick up the tiny mesh sacks with birdseed in them. As they ran through the shower of birdseed, he stopped at the end of the line. He picked her up and kissed her in a way that she knew more would be forthcoming but as not to disrespect their guest. A cheer went up as the limo pulled away. Destined for the trip of a lifetime.

Please feel free to critique this and let me know of any mistakes I may have made. I have not done much fiction.
Travis as alternative idea for challenges,we know the book will eventually run out of ideas, why not pick a day of the week that new challenges will be posted. Make the newsest challenge the featured article so it stays on top, and you pick a picture and post it and everyone write a story about the picture. Yes there may be some that are the same but most people see things differently and we could learn from the different aspects of one picture. Just a suggestion , take it or leave it.
Thanks Carol
beads?
"Their marriage was consummated right there on a table in the reception hall."
it would have been funny if the crowd had watched..:D
Julie...I'll think about your ideas and see if I can't come up with something like that. Thanks for the idea..
Thank you JoAnna
Thanks Michelle, and as for more it would take days to come up with more to go along with that story LOL
Thank you so much Elsie. It was actually quite challenging to write a fictional story about my own wedding picture but once I started it flowed fairly easy.
Thank you Tina. Picture is real story is fiction LOL
