There are a few questions surrounding the writing contest. We are taking a hiatus for a couple months, but the competition will resume once again in December. Any 2,000-10,000 word entries that are submitted from now until December are automatically placed in queue for the December competition. You will receive notification once your entry is live in December. Because of the amount of entries we will be receiving, not all entries will be posted on the first day of December. We will, however, try and post the stories as quickly and efficiently as possible.

The contest is open to anyone around the world - we have already had a couple international winners! The July winners are currently for sale on Amazon for 49 cents, so go to Amazon.com/shorts to support your fellow Gather members!

This is the story about a small village in Nepal in fact its the true story, near my house there was a small plain surface. We used to play there in the day time i, When the darkness surround. We used to hear the unpleasent sound , when I inquire about that i found very mysterious reasult and it goes like this, there was a woman who was going to the hospital for curing her male child of about four years .when she reached that place she remember that she has forget to take the hospital card she left the child in that place and went home for taking the card and but it was a god wish or say a miracle till the mother return the child was already dead .And people say since that time that place is hunted. And we heard the unpleasented sound of the child saying mummy, mummy.

Sounds cool, I think I'll try it, I got some prttey good ideas and i've always wanted to put them out there for others to read.
