The August Submission Period Has Begun!

Congratulations to everyone who entered the Short-Form Writing Competition for the month of July! We received hundreds of compelling entries from authors, ranging from fiction to poetry to plays, all vying for the chance to be published by Amazon Shorts. With hundreds of stories and thousands of votes, the buzz for this contest continues to grow in the literary world.

Now that the official submission period for the July contest has ended, all entries received from today until August 31 will be considered for the August contest period.

Remember though, there are still July stories posted that need to be read. Voting on the final batch of July stories doesn't end until August 15th.

Just to refresh your memory, the July/August contest calendar is as follows:

• July 31: Last day for July contest period submissions

• August 1: Official start of August contest period

• August 15: Voting ends for final entries for July contest period

• August 22: Winners are announced for July contest period

• August 31: Last day for August contest period submissions

Even if you have already entered, you can continue to participate. New entries are being posted every day, which means fresh new writing for your eyes. We encourage you to continue reading, rating, and commenting on these pieces!
