If people are being made ill by environmental pollutants (if this is what you are indicating), they ought not be made to pay for their medical expenses thus incurred. I wonder how it would impact the whole healthcare issue if polluters were required to pay the medical expenses their unhealthful activities help to create.

My husband suffered from asthma so badly in Oahu that they had to air evacuate him back to the mainland. It was the burning of the sugar cane at harvest time that did it.
Warm weather means more pollens floating around to activate allergies. That's why so many southern cities.

The Houston area has to be # 11. This has been the worst year for my allergies and asthma. After Ike, I started having more severe allergies and they haven't let up since then.
