(Week 39 Challege :: Use the phrase "But I have promises to keep" anywhere in your drabble that must be 100 words non less non more.)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Kami, It's our last gathering. We will not meet again, not anymore."
Chini was weeping in despair holding Kami's hand so tightly.
She added "But I have promises to keep"
"I understand my sweetheart, I'll not force you to run away with me."
He added wiping her tears. "This is our fate, God knows better and let it be my dear Chini."
"Our parents always want prosperity and good fortune for us, let us respect their decision and you should happily accept it, my love."
He hugged her and calmed her so well.
Chini whispered "Yes Kami, I'll do so."
