more old gather friends - we're a talented bunch!

hi friends! well, you may remember my post on bill's spirit, and how we've featured him on our travel site as our august artist of the month. it was so interesting to read of his process, and the ideas behind his art. i feel very lucky to own one of his paintings!

we also had joel carillet, who is our chief editor at wanderingeducators.com, as our august photographer of the month! and, have you seen his new book? it is incredible. FINALLY, after years of saying to him, i can't wait for your book, i am holding it in my very own hands. congrats, joel!!

and now, i am happy to announce that jude cowell, whose art i've also loved for years, is our september artist of the month. come by and say hi to her! you'll find out lots about how she started doing art (young), and her ideas and great variety of subjects for her art. it is a fantastic interview (thanks, jude!)...i have one of her drawings framed, on the wall. i look at it and dream...
