Interactive Editing Collective (editfriends): This group is primarily for those of us who wish to hone our editing skills. However, any writer brave enough to submit their precious work to our knives are more than welcome. This means, no whining about how the editors end up carving. Certainly, we greatly desire any feedback from writers as to how they view our performance, even highly negative feedback. Part of the skills we editors need to develop is a thick hide that we may edit as we see fit, while remaining cognizant of and sympathetic to the needs of the authors. I guess the parameters might be: gloves off, but no drawing blood or actual malice. Enjoy the journey.
