Mrs. Robinson, I love That Thing You Do,
It's your Black Magic that gives me Satisfaction,
Wild Horses cannot bring back Yesterday
Where our love was an Unchained Melody
I Can't Help Falling in Love With You still,
Even though we met at The House of the Rising Sun
We loved with a Slow Hand, the world was our Fire
and Lola was at the Copacabana.
You Can't Hurry Love,
Then you were Born To Be wild,
And then Light My Fire, Time After Time;
But now we're
Sounds of Silence,
Oh Cecilia
Sometimes When We Touch
Just Like a Woman, you break like a little girl.
For No One
Cries my heart
I Can't Live, if living is without you,
You're leaving On a Jet Plane
I've got a Heart of Glass,
We've Got to Get Out of This Place
And Break on Through to the Other Side
and find a Bridge Over Troubled Waters.
It's Too Late Baby
But Imagine
Where Do All The Lonely People
Find a Stairway to Heaven;
While My Guitar Gently Weeps
She's Mother's Little Helper
And we're only a broken Halleluiah
And Dust in the Wind.
This is a follow-up to Songs from the Malt Shop and Malt Shop Two that I published recently.

Thanks for enjoying.
Laurun, Good Night Ladies.
MM - Dancing In My Sleep.
I feel like a dancing queen when he is singing and kiling me sofly with his songs ...and say I can't live with or wthout you ..
mark: My favorite, thank you.
Downtown but what I wanted to do was go
Sailing. All I could find was
Moon River so went to the beach and I sat
Under the Boardwalk and thought about how
St Elmo's Fire was better than
Singing in the Rain. Then I decided that maybe
Somewhere over the Rainbow I would find
Daniel and talk him out of
Leaving on a Jet Plane but all he wanted to do was
Play that Funky Music with
The Fool on the Hill He reminded me that
Big Girls Don't Cry and that it was just a
Summer Love. I decided
I Would Never Fall in Love Again. He said
Make It Easy on Yourself so I said
I Need You Tonight and that I was in a
New York State of Mind after all it was
My Life. He said
You Might Be Right so I left and went to
Vienna.
Blue m., Carol Lloyd, David Cano, oh cool cool cool In the Summertime!
Sound of Silence is another favorite. Did you know that there were two versions? The first was completely folk oriented and the second was more polished and rock and roll. If Simon and Garfunkel could ever be considered rock and roll. I like the folk version better. They were my favorites for a while and somehow I impressed the girls that I was trying to "pick up" at my frat parties, when I told them that. Go figure!
Prolific and terrific come to mind when I see that you have published an article. I am so pleased you are the Wednesday Writing editor. Slow as I am, I simply cannot keep up with all your articles (this is not any sort of complaint only a compliment). Your tribute to your Dad was wonderful!
Hallelujah is a goodie, if you don't know it.
The next one about music took me to Google; it was a research piece driven by curiosity. That will either be later today or Thursday.
thanks Leslie R.
Susan, I will have to look into Lyrical Life. Sounds very enlightening.
Michael, thank you. I am just buzzing most of the time with ideas. LIttle wonder I have time for housecleaning, between this, family and a job. Now back to bed in a minute.
Jen, thank you.
Great article Kathryn !
