Prayers for John

This poem is dedicated to John F. Walter, my inspiration to live fully.  John, as you undergo procedures today, my thoughts, hopes, and devoted prayers encircle you.  Friends, join me in prayer for John - light a candle and send him healing light and offer prayers in any faith for his recovery.


A single candle
lit for you
this misty morning
prayerfully
I yearn to comfort
ease the pain
white light is sent now
straight to you
may healing thoughts aid
calm and soothe
your gentle spirit

My thoughts are with you
dearest friend
this day and always
candles lit
every day throughout
your journey
tearful prayers sent
offered up
tears are shed with hope
hoping for
a recovery.

Breanne, we're on the same page. When he was scheduled for surgery I told him I'd light a candle for him daily and kept my promise. I too, sent him healing white light. His faith is amazing and he's recovering rapidly. We all love him and wish him the best.
Amanda, I am inspired by John's faith. My candles are always lit for him.
