Jan, great short poem/photo collage idea. You bring out as Mary points up the passion of purple combined with a white wedding motif, so efflorescing desire matches and enhances the "making new" of the marital ritual. "Empty glasses waiting to be filled" can be taken in the literal sense of the table and the wine, but also the couple themselves, their lives ahead. I love your subtle subtext, your visual context. You've got me hexed.

I've never seen purple peppers before but the images are striking in their uniqueness! I would be interested in knowing the variety they are and if they can be grown my "amateur" gardeners....there, I just gave you a topic for a future article! LOL

Where did they get purple peppers. This would be great for my wedding because it will be held outside next September and they would go with my green and purple theme colors.

I'm not sure if that is where the purple ones were purchased.
