i read ludo's article yesterday, with all the gorgeous art that he's made.

and you know what?? we're SO LUCKY ...we have 2 original ludo  pieces of art...thank you, ludo!!!

i  was embarrassed by the toys and disarray in the living room, but ed said to just take the picture high. here are his  gorgeous pieces of art, on our mantle (no floor visible, haha)....although these photos don't do this art justice....

So you smoked the cronic and then took the pictures? Nice - I totally respect that.

I also respect the interesting vibrator the stands between the two photos - we all know that Grolle, the randy goat - will appreciate his pictures on either side of the pleasure device!

ok, the vibrator, man, you are crazy. that's an indian lady in a sari...paper mache., prob wouldn't last in the purpose you assigned to it. anyway, my granny and grampa got it in india when they lived there in the '50s, on a fulbright (with 7 kids, can you imagine?)....

ok, and you didn't mention lillie's gorgeous photo. ??? ;)

I can crop a multitude of sins out of a picture! I really like the arty look of the fullmantle shot with the bookshelves on either side.

And of course, the paintings are awesome!

thanks, everyone!! carol - you are brilliant. i'll just tell ed. heh heh. a woman's work is never done, right?? esp in this house. i could care less abt mess. but other people do. you should see the chaos of the LR about a foot below where the photo ends. toys, books, blocks, painting stuff, doll houses, play doh, etc. piled higher and higher...yikes!

ya'll and your vibrators. sheesh! ;)

that drawing of ed and i was our marriage proposal. isn't that romantic? i wrote abt it here on gather, a zillion years ago...

nice colors, try using a close-up setting on the camera and squaring them into your lcd viewer-- should be okay-- and really look great--

Jessie, Your mantle is beautiful and Ludo's paintings do it justice. Who cares about the books, toys, play doh and painting supplies. That proves that Lillie is learning. A house is not a home for children if they aren't allowed to have things out where they can use them. Kudos to you for allowing Lillie to use her imagination and become a productive child.
