Talk about synchronicity. I was just thinking about that tonight. I was so stupid at times when I was young and thought I knew exactly what I was doing. I liked the way you described looking up the word wisdom in the dictionary.
Yes you were wiser when you were younger....maybe not with worldly things....but with spiritual and natrual things....we are all trying to get back there.....one way or another.....

Mariana - great poem about the blissful ignorance of youth. As I get older, the age sneaks up on me while wisdom tries to sneak past. :) My mom has a great saying: Wisdom, Wine and Wahoo! Reminds me not to be so critical and serious as I get older...

Wisdom is a funny thing-- it changes, depending on what your experiences are. As for me, I was "born old;" questioning right, wrong and wisdom from almost as soon as I could talk.
I really like the simplicity of what you wrote here...
So very true...Reminds me of Twain's comment about his father. (Paraphrased from memory):.."When I was 20, I thought my father the most stupid man ever lived. When I was 30, I thought my father the most brilliant man ever lived. Amazing how my father learned so much in only 10 years...."
