1. Re-entering the US after being previously deported and
2. Using a stolen Social Security card.
If this is true, why wasn't she arrested and imprisoned as any one of us would have been if we commited even 1 felony ? Again the Bush team fails us ?
So what the hell is it with you? Really?

Got any 1099's lately Elizabeth?
Let's see, maybe she's obsessed with you, Bob. After all she sent me a message a few weeks a go;
"Please try to stop focusing on everything I do and say, the things that I post and comment on. It's really not healthy for you and it's become too much a source of gossip for others."
And another excerpt;
"But I really think you should try to get yourself under control and stop obsessing and responding to all of my comments, articles and images because people are gossiping about you."
Geesh, I've seen the lefties try to shut people up before, but that's a new tactic on me. She goes on to say that she thinks I'm a lesbian and obsessed with her!
Elvira Arellano is out of the United States. Instead of remaining in the country illegally, she is now pursuing her cause in a legal manner. She's appeared before the Mexican Congress and is encouraging them to "push forward immigration reform between both countries." Sounds fairly reasonable to me.
I don't agree with her comments that "The United States is the one who broke the law first. By letting people cross over without documents." If that's the best argument she's got, I don't think she's going to have much luck. But I guess we'll have to wait and see.
It's very interesting and especially if you've ever taken any psychology or sociology courses. Even after all these years, it still sometimes amazes me the lengths at which the libs will go to quiet someone.
Enjoy the specimen!
The mind is a terrible thing to waste! ROFLMAO!!
Does our Country really need Immigration Reform? Do you think that the U.S. should allow anyone who wants to come here in?
Maybe until the Mexican Government cleans up its act, we should close the border and all aid to Mexico?
And Lera, do you have anything to say about this article? Or, once again, are you simply obsessed with me?
As far as her, I think she's using that boy. What kind of mother does that?
I thought lawyers took an oath to uphold whats right? I know we are just picking on illegals and this is just not right ... soooo I'm including the following:
The Traffic Ticket
On April 1, 2007, in Denver County Traffic Court,
Denver, CO, my wife had to appear in traffic court as
a result of a speeding ticket. She was speeding and
knew she would have a fine to pay. We have no problem
with that. The rest of the court experience, however,
is something we should all stand up and take exception
to and ask what is happening to the United States?
She was asked to be in court by 4:30PM today, with
which she complied. However, when she got there, it
was announced that all non-English speaking persons
with traffic violations would be taken care of first.
The reasoning being that the interpreter leaves every
day at the same time and does not stay late. So a
reward for not speaking English is one gets to go the
front of the line.
Next, the non-English speaking individuals do not have
driver's licenses or insurance. Never was it asked why
they did not have licenses, what they were doing to
get licenses or insurance. What they were given for
driving without a license was a $35 fine. Since many
of them did not have $35 they were also given payment
terms. So, they are granted another reward for not
having the money to pay the fines.
My wife, who was born in Denver, Colorado, raised
here, and lived here all her life, was given a $249
fine for her speeding ticket, was not given payment
terms, and had to wait until all the non-speaking,
aliens were treated first.
If I understand this correctly:
* Let's never require the non-English speaking
individuals who live in this country to learn English.
* Let's never require they become citizens of this
United States of America.
* Let's never require them to ever get driver's
licenses and pray they never kill someone on the road
with their driving.
* Let's never require they get automobile insurance,
so that all of us who do will pay higher and higher
premiums.
* Let's make sure that those of us who do get injured
by these individuals pay higher and higher health
insurance premiums
* Let's make sure those who can pay their fines, pay
big ones to subsidize all those $35 fines on payment
plans.
* Let's make sure we never inconvenience them and
let's never inconvenience the interpreters in this
country who may have to work late.
No country in the world has ever survived having 2
major languages. We are heading down that path.
Respectfully, John DiNardo
Obviously anyone speaking Spanish is an illegal alien. And the Swiss (who have 4 national languages are headed down the path to self-destruction), not to mention the Canadians, the Belgians, the British, and currently about 30 other major countries.
Yes, I think the US really needs immigration reform. And yes, I think the ultimate goal should be that all countries would allow people to move in and out freely. Why shouldn't everybody be free to go wherever they like? But I also accept that there are a lot of reasons why that won't work right now.
And hey..if that doesn't work..let's sell our women off into brothels. If they can't find a brothel here in the States, I'm sure that sense everybody should be able to go to any country at will, our women can find a job in a brothel in a Third World Country.
And if that isn't enough to supply our families with more income and pay our debts..why don't we just sell our children off into indentured servitude? Oh what the hell..let's just sell them off into prostitution.
So there you have it America. www.spp.gov
I'm getting a kick out of it too, Tim. Especially the part where Jonathon pointed out that speaking Spanish doesn't make a person an illegal alien, and that Mr. DiNardo's assertion that "no country in the world has ever survived having 2 major languages" is total nonsense.
No, your "correction" of Mr. DiNardo is total nonsense. He is absolutely correct. It really goes to the heart of what is a "COUNTRY". This is perhaps the crux of the illegal immigration debate entirely. I'm finding that the supporters of illegal immigration lack a basic understanding, or at least good focus, of what is a NATION.
It is " a historically developed community of people, in a defined territory, united by a common descent, language and culture". (Webster's College Dictionary).
Jonathan G. :
The "countries" you mentioned aren't headed toward self destruction because they are already destroyed (as far as being a true "country" is concerned).
Canada might be a good example. Although having kept it's population to a very svelte
30 million with an intelligent point immigration system (while we've embarked on chain migration idiocy), and although Canada is thereby economically successful (they sell us oil, while we import 2/3 of ours), even still, Canada, with Quebec included, is not
truly a "country". They are 2 countries, mistakenly trying, fruitlessly, to be one. Canada, without Quebec (French speaking), would be a country, as would Quebec without the other (English speaking) Canadian provinces.
Also Wil :
Just because one is outraged that someone is in the country illegally , doesn't mean that they can't also be outraged at another injustice to us legal residents: where we are held accountable (including imprisonment) for felony commission, while some others (whoever) do not bear that same accountability.
In addition, this special treatment being given to illegal aliens, works toward encouragement of more foreign people to illegally enter the US, similar to the
idea of sanctuary cities, thereby harming us, in the well known numerous ways.
As for : Why shouldn't everybody be free to go wherever they like ? You're not really going to get me going on the old population/resources ratio thing again, are you ?
Please, I'm tired of it.
LOL! Yeah, I guess it works to say that no country has ever survived having two major languages if you change the definition of 'country' to exclude all the ones that have two or more major languages. Fuggetaboudit!
Canada is still a country. It isn't destroyed because it has two major languages. Luxembourg hasn't been destroyed, and its got 3 official languages. And the highest per capita GDP in the world. Switzerland has 4 official languages, and its managing to do just fine. It also has a higher per capita GDP than the US. How have these countries self-destructed? What's wrong with them?
" Just because one is outraged that someone is in the country illegally , doesn't mean that they can't also be outraged at another injustice to us legal residents: where we are held accountable (including imprisonment) for felony commission, while some others (whoever) do not bear that same accountability."
So you think people are outraged that she was deported instead of put in prison? You think the answer to illegal immigration is to lock up every person who comes into the country illegally? As far as I know, she was held accountable for her felony crimes. She was on probation for 3 years for using the fake Social Security card, and she's been deported for being illegal.
I can understand people being upset about the whole "sanctuary" thing. I hope it's not going to gain popularity. We don't need people like Mr. DiNardo's wife hiding out in churches to avoid paying their speeding tickets.
"In addition, this special treatment being given to illegal aliens, works toward encouragement of more foreign people to illegally enter the US, similar to the
idea of sanctuary cities, thereby harming us, in the well known numerous ways."
Are we still talking about Mr. DiNardo's story? What special treatment was given to illegal aliens? Are you talking about the translator and the payment plans? They got translators because they didn't speak English. Not speaking English doesn't make you an illegal alien. They got payment plans because they didn't have the money to pay their fines. Being poor doesn't make you an illegal alien, either.
The short answer is that I'm against illegal immigration and in favor of free trade. But these aren't simple issues so I don't even pretend that those short answers explain very much about where I stand.
Now let's refer back to my article titled " Card Players and Illegal Immigration" As is evident in the comment quoted above, Elizabeth has just plaed two of those cards.
1. The Race Card.
2. The Xenophobe Card.
First of all..I'm not a racist or xenophobe. I know that I'm not a racist or xenophobe. My friends and family know that I'm not a racist or xenophobe and that's all that matters to me. Simply throwing cards at me because I'm opposed to illegal immigration is as lame as it gets. And I'm confident that I'm speaking for Bob as well.
In fact, any intelligent person can see that comment was intended to dis-credit Bob and I because we're opposed to illegal immigration. And Elizabeth still hasn't stated where she really stands concerning illegal immigration.
Ooops! Sorry bro'!
Tim...
I'm kinda concerned about the Cherokee and the Italian parts of your bloodline. It must be a real emotional roller coaster for you on Columbus Day! ROFLMAO!! Just kidding!!
Tim, what the hell are we, meaning H.G. and myself, being when we discuss your hertitage?
Wikipedia gives a good example of the difference between racism and xenophobia. First, it defines xenophobia as "fear or contempt of foreigners or strangers."
That's not a bad definition, and might help anybody unfortunate enough to think it has something to do with a video game (which, by the way, was unique in its day in that you didn't have to play by yourself; it allowed for up to 3 players, all playing simultaneously, using a split screen).
Anyway, the example they give to show the difference between racism and xenophobia is "to dislike a black person from France because they are French is Xenophobic, but if one does not like them because they are black, it is racism." Excellent. :)
Good question! Now let's see...
Scottish = being from Scotland, which is a country, which means 'Scottish' is a NATIONALITY, NOT a RACE - Nope, no racism there!
Irish = being from Ireland, which is also a country so Irish = Nationality NOT race - Nope no racism there!
Italian = being from Italy, also a country, therefore Italian = Nationality NOT race!
Cherokee (Native North American) = from America, also a country, therefore = Nationality NOT race!
Hmmm...Hey Bob! I have an Idea! Let's try this with Mexican!
Mexican = being from Mexico, Mexico is a country, so "Mexican" is a NATIONALITY - NOT a RACE!
I guess that blows the theory of 'racism' out of the water!
Black is not a race either. It's a color.
Is that right, H.G.? That's strange, because I'm looking at a United States Census 2000 form right now and Question 8,"What is Person 1's race?", definitely has "black" (actually "black, African Am. or negro") listed as an option to choose from. They also have "white", which is also a color, so I guess sometimes a word can be used to refer to a color or to a race. Amazing, isn't it? LOL!
What is amazing is your ignorance! You see Wil, just because the Census bureau, the U.S. Government, and any other agency uses the term 'race' does NOT mean there is such a thing. The whole idea of race is an invented concept which was used as a way to justify the less that human treatment of slaves to the rest of society. It has since been used BY MODERN SOCIETY to seperate people of different colors. It CANNOT be proven scientifically or even genetically that humans are racially different than one another, other than skin color, or features that would indicate region rather than race. When the idea of different races of humans originally came about, there were only three. Can you tell me what they were? Census 2000 my ass!
AMAZING ISN'T IT!?
The only ones that actually use the fabricated concept of race are usually the racists (i.e. LaRaza, Mecha, Maldef, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and all the white supremist groups), well, you get the picture.
Tim, my guess is you could put an X next to white and another one next to American Indian, and then fill in Cherokee in the space provided. None of the other choices are their list seem to apply. Or you could come up with your own name for whatever race you consider yourself to be, and put it in the space provided. Judging from HG's comment, I'm guessing maybe he wrote in "HUMAN" if/when he filled out his census form.
"There is a place to write in the name of a race that's not only their list, so if you wanted to..."
ROFLMFAO!!!!! So you see Wil, we can even ADD MORE 'fabricated' "RACES" to your BS Census!
Let's see if the genius even knows. Right now he's probably doing his research on race in hopes to prove me wrong. He may be gone a spell. LOL!
I'm pretty sure that ole' Wil will come up with some url's proving that all of those are 'races ' LOL
"I'm pretty sure that ole' Wil will come up with some url's proving that all of those are 'races ' LOL"
Not this time, he won't!
"Sasquatch" ROFLMFAO!!!
"...it's not any wonder they call us all a bunch of racist, even "we" don't know what our race is let alone sombody elses race."
Rest assured Bob, they don't know what THEIR "race" is either.
And just because you disagree with them doesn't mean there isn't. It's a demographic designation. Not scientific or genetic. So there you go, HG. Sure, race and ethnicity are, to one degree or another, social constructs. So what? That doesn't mean we can't come up with good enough definitions of things like racial or ethnic discrimination to make them illegal, does it?
H.G. ..HE JUST DID !
Elves , and Dwarves are quite reliant upon commerce and trade with numerous races.
Here is a list of the known races in brief;
A) Dragons & Dragon kin
B) Elementals
C) FAE
D) Giants and Giant kin
E) Human
F) Shape-Shifters
G) Other Species
H) Half breeds
K) Mongloids
L) Negroids
M) Angloids
O) Rednecks
P)Yankees
Q) Trailer park dwellers
R) Mayonaise eaters
"It's a demographic designation. Not scientific or genetic." ROFLMAO!!
Wil, Demography does not a "race" make! Is this the best you can do? I just told you, "race" is a fabricated concept and you just proved it!
Since our resident genius doesn't know, you can go ahead now and say which three original fabricated 'races' are.
"So what? That doesn't mean we can't come up with good enough definitions of things like racial or ethnic discrimination to make them illegal, does it?"
So now you think we should invent things so we can turn around and make them illegal? Man! You're a real piece of work!! LOL!!
1. Negroids
2. Mongloids
3. Angloids
"And just because you disagree with them doesn't mean there isn't."
Yeah, and I suppose in YOUR make-believe world there is a Santa Claus and a tooth fairy! And just because I disagree, doesn't mean there isn't, Right?
That is correct! But 'Angloids' should be 'Caucasoids', which would be Negroids, Mongoloids, and Caucasoids.
You said: "H.G. ..HE JUST DID !"
Re-read his reply - NOT EVEN CLOSE!!
"H.G. ..According to the racists, I'm a '' Wapspicknaiggercrackerinjun"
LOL! I don't think there is enough room to write that in on Wil's questionaire. Can you invent a race with a smaller name to fit on the form? I kinda liked "Sasquatch" ROFLMFAO!!!
Right next to me, my American brother!!
Uh...that's kinda reserved for the female 'race'! LOL!!
W) Undead
H) Orcs
F) Trolls
and don't forget
Protoss
Human
Zerg
Racial and ethnic discrimination is already illegal. In fact, I was just reading about a case that Bob gave me a link to about that officer Chabot who's facing a lawsuit in federal court for racial profiling and discrimination. I wonder if he'll use the "race is a fabricated concept" defense? I hope not.
If you mean "fabricated" as in constructed or created, you're right. It's a social construct. So what? So is the concept of citizenship.
"The only ones that actually use the fabricated concept of race are usually the racists (i.e. LaRaza, Mecha, Maldef, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and all the white supremist groups), well, you get the picture."
And the US Census Bureau. Are they a racist, white supremacist group too? And all the other organizations that have ever asked me to fill in my race or ethnicity on a form? Wow, I think that goes all the way back to elementary school!
Hey, I just noticed something kind of funny. When you look at the FBI's list of 10 Most Wanted Fugitives, nine of them have a racial designation. The FBI only assigns one of four -- white, black, asian, or white (hispanic). Guess who doesn't have a racial designation? Yep, Usama bin Laden. Turns out the FBI doesn't include a racial designation in their descriptions of anybody on their list of Most Wanted Terrorists. I wonder why?
HG, do you think it's because the FBI is a racist, white supremacist organization? Or do you think it's because their system of racial designations is too limited?
If you were working for the Border Patrol and you encountered a U.S. National Guard Vehicle with 20 Mexicans in the back..what would you do?
"Racial and ethnic discrimination is already illegal."
I really thought you could do better than that Wil. What do you think came first - race or racial discrimination? And clouding the issue with a discrimination lawsuit story, only serves to prove that you cannot dispute the facts that I presented to you above. You tend to always try and divert attention to the issues with some other 'story' or other BS., in hopes of detracting from the real issue being discussed. As I told you before, the concept of "race" is a FABRICATED concept that was used to justify the inhumane treatment of other human beings by others who regarded themselves as "supreme" or "masters" above anyone who 'looked' different.
Wil, A white rose and a black rose - both are the same except for color. They may differ in things like region types of petals but it doesn't make one better or superior to the other. It's the same for humans. And in regards to your story, the idea of "racial profiling" is just a tool that the pro-illegal crowd uses to prevent law enforcement from doing their jobs. All people are profiled to a degree - just ask the F.B.I.!
Wil said: "I'd do whatever I was supposed to do when I find people inside containers."
Translation: He'd do whatever his corporate "Massa" tells him to do! LOL!
And as I told you before, race is a social construct, created or FABRICATED by people just like the concept of citizenship.
"And in regards to your story, the idea of "racial profiling" is just a tool that the pro-illegal crowd uses to prevent law enforcement from doing their jobs."
Law enforcement agencies are supposed to uphold the law, aren't they? So if racial profiling is against the law (as was the case in the example I mentioned) then they couldn't be doing their jobs if they're engaged in racial profiling.
"He'd do whatever his corporate "Massa" tells him to do! LOL!"
As opposed to breaking the law? I thought your beef with people who are in the country illegally is that they're breaking the law? So if a Port Security officer followed whatever procedure they're supposed to follow in those situations, you think that's a bad thing, but you think everybody should respect immigration laws because "Massa" tells them to?
Oh no Wil..you just didn't put your own foot into your mouth did you?
How's that, Tim? I'm just trying to figure out where HG is coming from with all his "Massa" stuff.
Maybe you should sue the FBI because it's THEIR JOB to profile, using whatever means at their disposal, including the incorrect term "racial".
And who told you that 'racial profiling' or any other type of profiling, was against the law?
The concept of race is equvalent to the concept of "citizenship"?! So, black slaves were considered citizens?
Jeezus! I'm blogging with an idiot!
No thanks, HG. They're already being sued. Turkmen v Ashcroft, and the judge dismissed the claim that their constitutional rights were violated due to racial profiling. You know, the whole "they might be terrorists" thing.
"And who told you that 'racial profiling' or any other type of profiling, was against the law?"
Well, in one case I found out thanks to a link Bob gave me. The one about that Chabot case I mentioned earlier. That happened in Rhode Island and it turns out that Rhode Island has a Racial Profiling Prevention Act that applies to state and municipal cops. Apparently there are at least a dozen or so US states where racial profiling is illegal. Ain't that a hoot?
"The concept of race is equvalent to the concept of "citizenship"?! So, black slaves were considered citizens?"
Funny, I don't remember posting anything remotely like that. I said that both race and citizenship are social constructs. You said that race is an invented concept. Fair enough. So is citizenship. Yet you seem perfectly happy to recognize the validity of one of those invented concepts, but not the other. Why's that, HG?
