Churches (especially Catholic) have become sanctuaries for illegal aliens and the Church leaders are among the biggest supporters of the illegals. This a totally self-interest thing and has nothing to do with compaaion or morals. In fact, I'd say the Churches are guilty of immorality by lying about their role. They are simply trying to save their own worthless butts and replace the dwindled (to near zero) congregations
with illegasl aliens who, unlike most Americans are still avid churchgoers.
Arellano should have been seized and arrested a year ago and the church's
pastors should have been locked up with her for harboring.
forum. When I put the word "immigration" in the search box, 10 articles appear on the first page dating back almost a month. Ordinarily, the first page would have 1 DAY
of immigration articles, and you'd have to go back more than a dozen pages to get back
to a month earlier. My own article (Lou Dobbs - a challenge to his critics - Aug. 11) is
lost along with scores of others.
Is Gather censoring out immigration articles. Of the few posted, not many seem to be anti-illegal immigration.
Where is Brenda when you need her. I have noticed a slow down as well. I hope this doesn't mean that America has fallen back asleep after the Amnesty Defeat.
If the "lost" articles don't reappear, and things go back to normal pretty soon, I'm going to turn my emails over to Lou Dobbs, O'Reilly, Hannity & Colmes, Wolf Blitzer and
God knows who else.
Gather : If you're censoring out our articles, you're asking for trouble, dudes!

He's got something to say about Elvira.
Also, here's another Url of Elvira:

I can understand the push for immigration reform that would help prevent the parents of US citizens from being deported. Will it ever happen? I don't know.
On a side note, I thought it was kind of funny that the site Bob linked to, at the same time it was applauding the arrest of Arellano, is asking people to help the family of Noe Aleman, who was convicted of conspiracy to defraud the United States and two counts of alien smuggling.

Not in THIS life!
Cold-blooded ICE agents leave child motherless!
by
Ernesto Cienfuegos
La Voz de Aztlan
Los Angeles, Alta California - August 20, 2007 - The USA might as well return the Statute of Liberty back to France. The inscription that the USA placed on its base is nothing but a lie. It was meant only for "White" immigrants from Europe.
Yesterday, callous federal ICE agents went to the Mexican historic center of Los Angeles to arrest an immigrant from Mexico, Elvira Arellano, as she left the oldest church in the city named "Iglesia de Nuestra Señora Reina de Los Angeles". The church was built by the Mexican founders of Los Angeles before the city and Alta California was confiscated by the Anglo invaders.
This just might be the spark that immigration reform activists have been waiting for that will help mobilize a massive civil disobedience movement on both sides of the border. According to the Rev. Walter Coleman, pastor of Adalberto United Methodist Church in Chicago, Elvira Arellano is now just across the border where she will be organizing from an undisclosed location. Elvira Arellano is truly a courageous and determined woman who deserves to be compared to Rosa Parks. Rosa Parks is credited with sparking the civil rights movement that changed, for the better, the lives of millions of African-Americans.
Elvira Arellano was torn apart from her 8 year old son Saul. Saul is a USA citizen and had to be left behind in care of the church. The child was with his mother when she was carted away by ICE. According to Ema Lozano who was with the besieged mother during the arrest, "She calmed him down, hugged him and gave him a blessing." This is one reason why the USA has lost the respect of the world, but what can you expect from a country that is responsible for the murder of over 600,000 human beings in Iraq? Those nativists responsible for tearing up immigrant families today are the same type as those that hanged their former slaves from poplar trees.
The USA has now become a nation of lies! This is especially true in regards to the justifications the government utilized to attack Iraq. Another big lie is what is inscribed on that famous statute on Ellis Island that says, "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

If your up for some lengthy reading go look at a post called (Deported, About time). There are a couple of Crack heads in there trying to tie Deportation to that of the Holocaust in WWII. I cant believe the lengths these pathedic excuses of Humanity will go to drum up some support for the Illegals.
are doing a great job of helping the opponents of the invasion. Anyone reading their
idiotic articles, like this one by Ernesto Cienfuegos, has got to figure these loose wires
aren't wrapped too tight. Like others of his ilk so often do, he seems to forget that
before the "Anglo invaders" (his words) "confiscated" Los Angeles, that then patch of
mostly worthless desert was "confiscated" by Mexicans from the Indian inhabitants and STOLEN from them by the Mexican "invaders".
At least when the "Anglo invaders" confiscated it from the first "invaders", they PAID the Mexicans billions of dollars (2007 $), something rarely ever seen throughout
history when a country was defeated in war (one caused by the 1840's Mexicans).
As for the Statue of Liberty's inscription, for cryin' out loud, will somebody up there
please get rid that stupid thing ?, which became outdated in 1924.
The New Colossus
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
Emma Lazarus, 1883
It was made into a plaque and placed inside the statue of Liberty by Georgina Schuyler,he began an effort to memorialize Lazarus and her poem and succeeded in placing the plaque in 1903.
jobs and living space.
Form follows function. It is absurd to be talking about the Lazurus poem as still
relevant to our society, in the year 2007. It was absurd 80 years ago.
