However it is now four ninteen in the morning.. and they are still awake.. they are now in bed though so things are looking better. I hate when the sitters let them sleep in the evening.. i pay for it later...

Very cute pictures. Luckily, when my boys go to bed they are out. Even with these NC summer storms, they sleep through them. I don't know how.

Thank you... they are my sunshine on most days. The tooth fairy has taken a cut in pay as of late... when she only had three kids who were shedding teeth they got a while five dollars for a good tooth... any tooth with a cavity only got a dollar..lol Since she has been met with the population explosion they get only one crisp dollar bill.. But stormy was happy with that and bought herself a tube of vanilla lip gloss...(I suppose to show off her jack-o-lantern smile.

Momma is still exhausted today.. They will end up taking a nap because they woke up at 7 am but I of course will be cutting grass and washing the car and the dog today (life just isnt fair)

You are so very lucky.. I used to be lucky. I never allowed over a thirty minute nap a day. Now that they have sitters in the evenings while i work the sitters let them sleep for three or four hours and so they get up and stay up most of the night.


Please tell me there is nap time for adults...lol

Hi there! They are so cute! I have problems getting mine to bed, but they are older, so I often just go ahead and crash and figure they'll get themselves asleep eventually. Naps are wasted on the young!

I don't know how I got so lucky but my 2 year old still takes 3 hour naps in the afternoon and then goes to sleep for the night at 9pm. Thank goodness because he is a fireball of energy when he is awake.

What cuties! Although, I would not have felt that way if I'd been up with them at 4 am!

I have twins 11 months old, a boy and a girl, and I can appreciate what you said about the sitters letting them sleep. I've been following the BabyWise system since they were born, and they are on a strict schedule. They sleep eleven hours a night and take two naps during the day where they sleep between an hour and hour and a half. It wasn't easy to get them here, but now it's great. My husband and I went out on Saturday and my parents babysat. I told my mom to have them take a nap from 2-3:30, but she let my son stay up and then he didn't take his nap until 5:30. So he obviously didn't want to go to sleep at 7:30. I would be really, really mad at those sitters if I were you. You are paying them good money to do what you want them too. If you have any choice, I'd try to find someone to respect your wishes. You need your sleep. By the way, your girls are beautiful!
