11-year-old Coraline Jones (voiced by Dakota Fanning) has just moved with her parents (Teri Hatcher and John Hodgman) to a new home in Oregon. With no friends and her parents distracted by work, the feisty and adventurous Coraline sets out to find some excitement in her isolated new environment. She is befriended—or, as she sees it, pestered—by a local boy close to her age, Wybie Lovat and visits her older neighbors, eccentric British actresses Miss Spink and Miss Forcible (Jennifer Saunders and Dawn French) as well as the arguably even more eccentric Russian, Mr. Bobinsky. Just as she’s beginning to think her new home is utterly uninteresting, she uncovers a secret door which leads to a parallel existence much like her own life—but much better. The adults, including the solicitous Other Mother welcome her warmly. And Coraline gets far more attention there—even from the mysterious Cat. She begins to think that this Other World might be where she truly belongs. But when her wondrously off-kilter, fantastical visit turns dangerous, Coraline must summon all her resourcefulness, determination and courage to get back home—and save her real family.

Oh goodness! We saw this in the theater and it made a Neil Gaiman fan out of my husband MUST HAVE THIS DVD at ANY costs! :P
That aside, my favorite movie as a kid? Gosh I had many, I know that for a while it was the Little Mermaid. Later years saw The Lion King and The Nightmare Before Christmas as favorites. The latter still being a favorite to this day.
Now pardon me while I walk with another skip in my step to see Coraline is out on DVD. (As it is when I saw this I SCREAMED CORALINE and my son and his friend turned toward me questioning what the fuss was about!)
i need this. i need this. i need this. did i mention i need this?
the world of my dreams is very strange. i think it's fairly evident in my artwork.
I think one of my all time favorites was probably "The Never Ending Story". I remember seeing it with my baby sitter at the movie theater. I loved the fantasy elements of the movie, and how grown up it felt. I was only 6 when it came out, and it was one of the first live action movies I was interested in.
i usually dream in 3D technicolor, which is another reason why i loved this movie so much. i can't wait for 9 to come out in the theater.
Oh, wow, what a great giveaway!
My dreams are like a maze that keeps changing -- I'll turn a corner in my house and suddenly I'll be in a hospital or a classroom, and I'll open a window or door and a bookshelf or a refrigerator or a cat will be there. Nothing is where it's supposed to be in my dreams.
my world of dreams is sometimes messed up.. but my kids would love this movie
The world of my dreams is filled with sunshine, warms and sand. My dream world is oceanside and right with flourescent colors and creatures.
For your chance to win a copy of Coraline, tell us what is the world of your dreams like?
For a while I dreamt in sequels, the same theme, just another installment, it was weird.
Every once in a while I'll have a dream that is so vivid and intense, it feels real and I wake up and reflect on it for days.
My dreams are vivid, and wacky. All the time. Sometimes, they feel so real. Usually, elements from my life make it in with elements from what I watched, or what book I am reading. I also almost always recall most of my dreams vividly afterwards. Sometimes, days later, even. I often write about them here, because they're so odd!
Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to turn off the underlining in my post above.
My dreams are made up of Hello Kitty flowers, crystal clear lakes and streams, mountains in the distance and the ocean right outside my window. Every day has the birds singing and every cup of coffee taste creamy. For breakfast, lunch, and dinner I eat Indian (as in Asia) entrees accompanied with pudding pies (because I do like my pies) - needless to say I'm a size two and a Target and an Off 5th Avenue (the Sak's Fifth Avenue Outlet) are all within walking distance. I have a German shepherd and a cat that both get along. In my dream world I am busy working on my tenth book (the other nine have been best sellers) and I am annoyed that Oprah keeps calling me about her bookclub. Oprah, how many times can I say yes.
The world of my dreams is like the movie "pleasantville", where everything is in black and white and simple and happy, and slowly the world begins to get color and people realize how happy they are that they are different and are filled with color.
(my favorite movie growing up was Cinderella... I didn't have ugly step sisters, thank goodness...but I did want a fairy godmother to make me a princess).
the world of my dreams is one where everyone gets along, everyone has a home and is fed and everyone is treated equal.
The world of my dreams? It is an odd place. For instance, last night I dreamt that I was looking at a house on an island; the only thing was that there was flooding for part of the year, so I wouldn't be able to leave for several months each year.
Mixed in with all of that was that I was going to go to medical school... and that some of my credits would count toward med school. Uh... Yeah... I'd love to know where that came from.
what is the world of your dreams like?
My world is peaceful and we all get along, share and enjoy life together.
My dreams are explicit, detailed, memorable and in color.
I remember almost all of my dreams.
I dearly want to see this movie! With the ecomony, we just didn't have the funds to go see it.
My other world consists of a place where no one has to worry about money. Everything is done on trade. Everything is green and beautiful, the earth is not suffering from global warming or anything like that. Everyone gets along, there is no war. People actually look out for each other. If someone is having a hard time, there are tons of people to help them get on their feet. I know...a total fantasy... but it sure would be nice as my other world.
Okay, here's the changed reply for the new question, haha.
My dreams can be a weird place... really.
In fact, some of them are here on Gather, but the weirdest ones I keep offline or private.
Sometimes I dream of death, being stalked by killers (I've been outrunning a killer who put a butcher knife to my throat in the past.) Some include natural diasasters like floods, tornadoes and some include the wee folk.
Other times I dream of being in school (this is a common theme) I'm usually ill prepared for it and miss classes as well.
They are always different, but always entertaning. Oh, and the killer one with the knife? That was while I was writing a murder mystery... so that's common when I'm emerged in a book to dream like that. They don't scare me as I know I'm dreaming (I wake up during them and roll over and go back asleep) and know it's my mind working out the kinks in the novel I'm writing at the time.
Sometimes my dreams seem to reflect real life events. One dream showed some murders. That day when I woke I saw a murder near here.. and it matched some of the "facts" in the dream. Another dream was of a friend here at Gather. I told her the dream in detail and she said it reflected events in her life I had no way of knowing. This has happened TWICE with this member. And some times a weird mix of symbols just happens to all come together 3-4 days after I saw them in my dream. It's bewildering seeing that happen and often that spooks me far more than the ones with the murderers in them. As a mystery writer, murderers and I speak on a regular basis, but prophecy and I do not.
I actually noticed that since I've changed my diet, my dreams have been far more vivid than normal. It's made for some interesting developments, that's for sure.
The world of my dreams is very clean, crisp, and white. Kind of the quintessential California Beach House. This particularly strange because I am not a crisp person. I am very uncrisp...I'm a stacker!
I really wanted to see this movie, i have yet to see it. My world of dreams would be heaven where I would get to see all my family that passed away and all of my family together and everyone be happy.
I would love to live on a farm and grow all of our food. We would have grow a large garden and do a lot of freezing and canning. I'm hoping to be picked, as would love to watch the movie with my daughter.
my actual dreams are virtually non-existent. I used to have ridiculously vivid ones as a kid, but for years now I am lucky if I recall more than 4 or 5 dreams a year, and even then the few I do recall are usually hard to recall. I almost always wake up w/ the nagging feeling they were related to something from the day before.
Mine is about the same as Mary G. My dream is to move the family out of the city and onto a farm. We want to grow most of what we need and even have those mini cows for milk and chickens for eggs. We want a stream and maybe a small pond.
My dreams are... not so great. I have nightmares almost every night, and my dreams are always very graphic. One recent dream involved a lady, with very shaggy, rough, white hair that was in a wild tangled mess around her head. She was frail, and hunched over. She reached out to me, and as I could see her approach, I saw blood dripping from her mouth.
A lot of times I wake up from my dreams terrified.
I tend to dream of road trips to strange places ... my dreams usually (sadly) envolve my ex husband. And usually I'm always in an arguement with someone.
my world of dreams tend to be scary. headlights quickly approaching. being lost in the woods, something chasing me. these both recurring for many years.
i go to bed with good thoughts; happy thoughts of loving & being loved. the dreams don't follow through.
In my dreams, a lot of times I am trying to get somewhere and often get lost...not sure what a psychologist would have to say about that?
My Dream World is blissful, pleasant, luxuarious, gleaming, full of beauty, smooth, glittery, and shimmers with a spectacular glow. I am glad you travled through! There are no words here that will ever offend nor are there any broken hearts. In my Dream World we all have the time to travel and experience all of lifes pleasures. There are majestic mountains, stunning seas and breathtaking fields. My dream World is as wide as sky , but it is never dark. This world of mine is as blue as the sea , but is never stormy ,it has a lot of trees , but there is no one who will ever cut them down.
And in my Dream World all the people live happily and peacefully.
I think it is funny, how different people have interpreted the question. To me this question is asking about our Dream World not our real dreams!! LOL
Well, the way it was wrote it eluded to the world in which you physically dream OR a world you created to whatever end you wished.
Gather didn't specify.
Yes, I do think it is funny how people are interpreting the question. And I described the 'world' of my dreams not my real dreams. LOL
I have trouble dreaming of a different world, I'm too stuck in this one.
I do know my wife is good at that, part of the reason she loves to write. She also loved this book and the movie when we saw it in the theater. She's been bugging me to buy this as soon as it comes out.
I love you too Mattie
My dreams right now are full of white sand and blue water and shaded hammocks hanging from trees. Sunshine warming the sand between my toes and I walk to the cool water and swim with the dolphins. Warmth drying the water from my skin as a gentle breeze wraps around me like my favorite fluffy towel! My family is always there by my side.
cool contest
I can totally understand Coraline ~ we used to moved all the time when I was a child and sometimes it was so hard to makes friends and sometimes I didn't think it was worth my time since I won't be there long. One year I felt like her and just lived in my own world at school, I was so mad at my mom for moving there and I didn't want friends and I wouldn't talk to anyone the whole year, I would just sit there and dream about things that make me happy and pertend to be somewhere else ~ it was a great world full of adventures and excitement. (and figures we did moved to a new school right after the school year was over!) I believe dreams and make believe are very important for children who are having hard times ~ so they can have a break from the real world and smile. I love being able to sit and dream (daydream) up a new adventure everyday ~ it made a crappy year go by so quickly. The next school we moved to I made tons of friends and had a great time and didn't have time for daydreaming. I was even able to stay at the same school the next year and graduate with friends I am still in contact with. Sometimes I like to go to my journals and read about my dreamworld as a 16 year old. Being a teenager is such an emotional time. now I don't think twice about the things I used to get so dramatic about at that time.
my dream world is filled dark shadows, screams of agony and evil laughter.
This sounds like a great movie, and Dakota Fanning is always a hit.
These days my dreams are very vivid, sometimes so vivid that I wake up thinking about whether or not something really happened. They are usually about my past, my high school years, or they turn out being great ideas for new novels to write on.
I haven't seen this yet, but it's in our queue for Blockbuster. I am really looking forward to seeing it. What are my dreams like? Sometimes they are scary, and I think thank goodness it was just a dream, sometimes they are so lovingly beautiful I just don't want to wake up, and sometimes they are so uniquely weird, I wonder, why the heck I would dream such a thing. I have never dreamed in black and white, always in color, so the images are very vivid.
I remember pretending I was somewhere else when the abuse was going on. Dreamed I was far far away...kinda funny I use to tell everyone when I grew up I would move far away...I did 1200 miles.
My dreams now when I fall asleep at a mix of joy and madness.
my dreams are happy
everyone gets along and we all have fun and all
life is great in my dreams
There are actually two kinds of dreams. Those dreams that you have while awake and those dreams you have while you are asleep.
My "awake" dreams are for peace in the world, kindness to be spread like wildfire and children to be safe no matter where they are. I dream of a world that is much different than the real world we live in. I dream of Love - unconditional love for all.
My asleep dreams are different. I often dream of fear and pain. I dream of cruelty and it scares me to death.
I do not like my asleep dreams but I love my awake dreams. :)
I really want this movie. I host a lot of girls night out for the local teen girls. This would be such a fun movie to use with them.
Gee, in another 6 months Angela will be a teen....I should send her your way Connie. LOL
My world of dreams involves a world where I am healthy and at a healthy weight and I have many adventures. In fact, in my dream world, I am very brave and adventurous. I travel and solve mysteries. I ride wild horses and live at the beach. My dream world is pretty fabulous and I like visiting it!
The world of my dreams are filled with wonder and amazingly interesting things and people. Anything can, and often does, happen. I revisit old friends and meet new people. I go to strange lands and visit the known places as well. My dreams are always different and from one night to the next I never know where I'm going to go.
The world of my dreams is a place where creativity is more highly prized than money. Where children are encouraged to paint, draw, write, act, build, etc.
It would be a like a giant living museum with constantly changing displays. Designer clothes would be one of a kind items. Poetry and book readings would take the place of game shows. The world would also utilize all kinds of creative means to heat, cool, cook, travel that wouldn't cause harm to the enviornment. Yards would be filled with flowers, vegetables in unusual formats.
I want to go there, now!
I usually dream about the last thing I watched, read or thought about. The other night I dreamt about a conversation with Sarah Palin discussing the reasons why people didn't vote for her. Weird, I know. Sometimes I also dream about my kids and playing with them. I like those dreams better than the others.
My dreams are about myself and the people around me, I've dreamed dreams that have come to pass, I write my dreams down and watch how God moves and brings them to pass.
I should say that I want this DVD for my grandkids, but I want it for me! I've been wanting to see this. As for my dreams, they are generally some strange twist on what ever has been on my mind during the day. If I've seen someone, or worried about something...it will show up in my dreams, but in some other form.
Oh I want this one
My dreams however aren't to pleasant. I have a lot of dreams about my past childhood years. A lot of screaming, abuse, phsyical, beer, drugs.
My dream world is very adventurous! I'm always chasing someone or being chased. I've also learned to fly in my dreams over time!
Oh, I have been wanting to see this movie!
My dreams are colorful, crazy, sometimes very realistic, sometimes fantasy like. Sometimes dangerous. Occasionally I have lucid dreams, those ones are pretty cool. I wish I could teach myself to have a lucid dream but they are just random and not very often. Sometimes I dream something, then later that very thing happens, sorta spooky...
my favorite childhood movie was a christmas story( otherwise known as "shoot your eye out"! My kids however love Tim Burton and this would be great for their collections!
my kids and I would LOVE this!
My dreams are quite realistic usually - it is when they take a turn towards the fantastical that I stop and tell myself this is not possible and wake myself up. Usually my dreams are about the what if's in my life - what if I'd done this instead of that. Or sometimes they run towards the si- fi. :) they are dreams after all
I have a variety of dreams, some good, some bad. Sometimes I dream of having adventures with my family pets included. In my adventure dreams we are usually running in exotic places such as Paris or even a made-up place in a far away galaxy. Our goal is to defend the earth from evil-doers. These dreams usually end with a cliff-hanger. ;)
Lately I have been having nightmares though, where I wake up crying. I mean literally tears rolling out of my eyes and streaming onto my blankets. Sometimes I can't even remember what the nightmare was but it takes a while to shake that sinking feeling away. Just last night I had a dream about being back in highschool, not being able to see the board, and failing math.
Most of my dreams fade away; however, when I'm awake my day dreams can last for days, even weeks. I can have an entire story in my mind unfold between commercials and have an ending for that story in a few days. This all happens while I am awake. I have always been more amazed by my day dreams, then what I dream when sleeping.
I've wanted to see this movie!
My dreams are usually used for solving problems I'm facing in my life. Otherwise they are usually about my past. Most of my dreams fade away rather quickly!
The world of my dreams is made up of people who arent sick or dying.
Dreams?!?!! More like nightmares. But I would like to win this movie.
My dreams are funny :) When I worked full-time in an offce my dreams were full of scenes where I was at home and now they are just the opposite. I'm often solving some kind of problem for people who get paid a lot more than me. Sometimes my dreams go totally out of the cube and I find myself climbing mountains or swimming or some other risky adventure.
I often have dreams of other places to live - and I dream about the same places regularly. One is a huge apartment, long hallway, lots of rooms filled with antique furniture (many bookcases filled with books)... there's a bend in the hallway and a door at the end- it opens into an unused BALLROOM.
If I dream I am "home", it's usually the apartment I grew up in - and haven't lived in for over 20 years.
The world of my dreams is much different from the initially friendly one that you describe here. Creepy weirdness is my exclusive dream material. LOL
Oh I LOVE what I've read and seen from Neil Gainman! I've had this on my wanted list since I've heard about it.
The world of my dreams is pretty simple. It's just a better version of what we are now. Every time I imagine my perfect home I end up seeing the same thing as I create it, and surprisingly it's not exactly what I want (though very nice). But I see myself, Jason and the kids living there, having lots of friends and family over all the time- me cooking dinner and watching the kids at the same time. I see us as happy family with no problems and no worries about money or health. I dream that I could do everything for my kids- give them the opportunity to enjoy adventures and go places that we only imagine (places that exist). I would keep my car- I love my car. I would be a good gardener and great decorator (overall good DIYer). And I would be able to afford to hire someone to clean my house, since I am not good at it. Better yet, in my dreams I would love to clean!
And in my dreams there would always be more time.
The world of my best dreams is fresh and clean. The air is cool and sweet with autumn. The trees are dark and strong and shade the paths. Down in the valley they are weighted down with snow which is slowly melting under an amazingly clear blue sky. The friends at my side are dear and true. There are no vehicles, power lines or busy schedules to interrupt our lives or the sounds and movements of nature. It's incredibly calm and familiar, and it feels so safe and welcoming.
I am a very vivid dreamer which can be good when they are good dreams or bad when you have nightmares like I am having right now. I often incorporate people I know, and things I have read or seen. I have seen characters warp thorugh VCRs, Talking foxes, I have been male and well as female in my dreams and I definitely dream in color. As I know from a dream where it seems my grandmother and I bought jelly beans at the store and my grandfather didn't like them so he threw them in the backyard where there were cocker spaniel puppies. Each of them ate a jellybean and turned the color and pattern of the jellybean they ate! I try to write my dreams down when I remember them as they often make good short stories.
My dreams if I'm actually able to rember are more on the nightmarish side. They are deep with full color. I am looking for my child he is not with me he is maybe in his bassinet then I look inside the blankets and he is not there but something is tugging on my leg I look down and push some of the bassinets ruffles out of the way to see him undernieth and a bunchof morphed deformed babies are grabbing and crying at me. I run panicked where is mine and I keep looking but all I am finding are the morphed babies. So I have to wake up. Thats just one of my weird dreams I rembered. Here is another I am at my old house but I'm visiting a friend that lives there. It's almost like I never lived there and this person I'm visitng has always lived there but I know where every thing is. I ask to go to the bathroom but go right to it. Itlooks the same except there is a big plastic sheet over the entire room it's clear so I can see every thing through it. Now I'm done doing the business and I'm ready to leave but the plastic wont let me. I am stuck in the room and it turns dark and becomes the day I was in the bathroom looking for my mom years and years before. I had been putting my magazines away next to the door way when I saw what I believed was my mom going down the hall and into her bathroom. I saw her go by in the corner of my eye it was dark in the hall and she was wearing a white nighty. I had a question about some thing and thought I'd better ask her before bed so I followed her into the bedroom and then I went into her bathroom and no one was in there the lights were off and I couldn't get the heck out of there fast enough. I was so scared of her room I have had many house dreams and I believe it was because of that incedent.
In my dream world families are important. Any world where I would get to spend all the time in the world with my family just enjoying them and having fun and spending time together without having to go to work and all that would be perfect.
The world of my dreams is very much filled with love and a connection with the world around us.
the world of my dreams is a simple world. it is a world where everyone gets along, their is no hunger and their is no fighting
If the world of my dreams came true; artists and educators would be valued high above athletes.
I like Tammie's dream world. Lots of love and no anger or sadness.
My dreams are weird when I remember them and they are often anxiety dreams/nightmares because I have a lot of stress in my life, and I guess in my dream world, I try to cope with it.
This looks like such a neat & cute movie... one that my 2 older kids have seen, but my youngest son hasn't (yet). It's on his birthday list along with a couple other kid friendly movies he doesn't have yet like Horton Hears a Who & The Incredibles. My kids have lots of movies and really enjoy watching them... plus movies are a great way to spend time together.
The world of MY dreams has always been odd. I dream in color, and I dream vividly. I wake up feeling the same emotions that were felt while dreaming, which have made for some pretty odd feelings at times. For example, if someone made me mad in my dream then I'd more than likely be mad at them in real life. Weird, right?
I have been dreaming alot of my wedding and having a new baby!
My dream world is most unpredictable and sometimes keeps me from sleeping at night. If I could create a perfect dream world, it would be filled with love, peace, flowers and sunshine ;)
Eeeeeeeee!!!!! Coraline!!!! =~D This is the bestest Gather Giveaway that there ever was, hands down!! I adore Neil Gaiman and Tim Burton, together, beyond amazing and this is better than a cash lotto as I would treasure it forever and ever and ever, lol!!
My dream world has no black nor white, no borders and no judgements, Peace rules the land without law or court as all know they are free to be the unique, fabulous beings they are and inherently know right from wrong, live and let live, and rejoice in the differences and vivid fabulousness that is all that live and breathe. A most wonderful combination of Mirrormask and The Never Ending Story where 'bad guys' and those that don't know labels are best left for jelly jars just never appear, in my world of someday, 'somewhere, over the rainbow.............."
My dreams are more emotional now, not just visual. Dead loved ones visit, usually to settle things or to let me know all is well or will be fine.
(If you liked Coraline, pick up Gaiman's "The Graveyard Book" for a family read. Also check out "Mirrormask" on DVD for older kids/adults. It's like watching art.)
the world of my dreams tends to be, for some unknown reason, University. No specific university, but that seems to be where the bulk of my dreams are located!
My dream world would be with puppies that i did not have to clean up after them. And my new car that i could drive around in. Tons of oreas with a nice milk fountain and other nice treats. Not to metion a bowling alley and a gymnastics gym. This world would have all of my favorite things in it to eat and fun people that would not annoy me. It would be filled with music and laughter. And i would not have to replace my eyes with buttons.
VERY SCARY!
The world of my dreams? Every child is fed and feels safe.
When I was little I had MANY active dreams. I used to believe that if I laid on the side facing my closet that I would dream of spiders & snakes...if I faced my door I would dream of good things.
I had a dream once that I was dancing on this HUGE stage with the Cabbage Patch Kids and all of a sudden I got to close the edge of the stage & I fell off into darkness...then I woke up and I think I jumped cause it felt like I landed on my bed.
I had this reoccuring dream when I was little where I would hear scratching at my window & I would be too scared to open my eyes...then I would hear the window creak open and little feet land on the floor...the little feet would run up to the edge of my bed and with my eyes closed I couldn't tell who it was, but I imagined it was a leprechan. With a blow of some sparkle dust from the Leprechan into my face I would wake up & try to scream but I couldn't & I would really be awake and paralyzed for a minute with my mouth locked & I couldn't scream out. FREAKED ME OUT! I had that dream a FEW times...
The last vivid dream I had was I dreamt my parents put me to bed and I was talking to my mom about how people called me Big Moose (I wasn't big...I was stick thin...but I always read Archie Comic Books before bed haha) and my mom said something like, "They would call you something else if they didn't like you..." And then I went to bed (in my dream). All of a sudden my covers fly off of me and I hear, "Bird time to get up..........." And it was the sound of my mom's voice mixed with a satanic voice...and I started floating up to my ceiling in my room & I couldn't scream. I tried so hard, but couldn't. Then I dropped and woke up with "landing" on my bed. My jaw was locked again. I started reading scriptures at night after that LOL. It FREAKED me out!
I used to watch a lot of scary movies & I think that is why I had so many freaky dreams growing up LOL. Now days I don't even know if I had dreams. I have stopped watching scary stuff so I don't dream so much about things...
My dreams tend to be practical and deal with day to day life type of things. Sometimes they involve relatives and past unresolved feelings and issues. I tend to have a lot of searching dreams, too. I hardly ever have bad dreams, that I know of. Some of that may be because I do not watch horor shows or movies. In real life I try to be the organizer and peacemaker and I think that carries over in my dreams.
My dreams are usually haunted by people from my past. 2 of them keep popping up in my dreams each night. Not really sure why, but they do. I have a lot of crime/drama type dreams, like I was in witness protection one time at this beach house. I've had that dream a few times, each time it's different but I have an overwhelming feeling of deja vu in the dream.
Maybe I watch too many CSI type shows...
My dreams are always different. I have no idea why I dream about some of the things I do. In the last one,I was wearing a white dress, but I had red undergarments on. Guess I'm not a fashionable dresser!
I rarely remember my dreams. The ones I do remember are usually about the characters or latest book I have read.
My dreams usually involve things that are fun. Illegal, imoral, and fattening, but fun
I do not have dreams, none have ever came true in the past so i say why keep doing it if it isn't going to ever happen.
My world would be filled with books and cats..since I like both. I would like to have a world filled with nice stories and bounce in between each. Also, I would have a variety of food since I enjoy to cook too.
My most memorable dreams all deal with an epic search for something, most often something that I don't remember upon waking.
the world of my dreams involves lots of flying w/ no apparatus to help...just simple human flying...and lots of soft surfaces....landing should always be easy :)
My dreams are in color and at times portend future occurences. My most recurrent dream involves a Thelma and Louise type car ride with my loved ones and ending at a highway that should have a bridge but does not. Below is a raging river and a great need to get across this impasse to avoid a cataclysmic occurence
My dream world is always rather odd. Like many people I dream in color. Flying can be a recurrent theme. Often my dreams seem to be erotic in nature. I also have horror themes (like zombies) running through my dreams often. Thankfully those last 2 don't occur together! I think often times my dreams are a way that I deal with my fears.
My dream world is full of color and sound. It's generally fast-paced, but dreams seem to last forever (even though I know they don't, but my dreams seem to connect together, so they end up all tied together). Strangely, that's how my life tends to be, too, lol.
I dream of a world full of chocolate covered almonds and peanuts and cashews
