Two movies with Heather Graham

I recently watched two movies with Heather Graham, Miss Conception and License to Drive.

Graham stars as Georgina Salt, who finds out that she only has one month left to try to conceive in Miss Conception. So she makes a plan to try to get pregnant randomly after her boyfriend and her split, with Georgina thinking that her boyfriend was having an affair with his assistant. For someone who is a business owner, she owns her own construction company, her silly antics seemed a little far fetched, although the turkey baster and the birthday cake was pretty funny.

Graham plays Mercedes Lane in License to Drive, the dream girl to Corey Haim's Les Anderson. Les tries to get his drivers license but fails his written test and is too ashamed to admit it to his family and friends. He gets caught in the act by his family, but sneaks out with his grandfather's car anyway to take Mercedes out. Needless to say, things don't go exactly well for Les, starting off with Merecedes using him to meet her ex-boyfriend. She gets wasted, and eventually Les has to go to his friends house to hammer out the dent that they put on the car. But now his friends want to go out too, and they get into all kinds of trouble. Corey Feldman and Carol Kane also star in this movie.

Of the two movies, I preferred License to Drive as it was a funnier movie than Miss Conception. I am not a big Heather Graham fan, as she tends to coast by on her looks, instead of using some acting chops for more substantial roles.
