Me... not really. But there's always the possiblity.
there will always be things that we dont understand!!
I do somewhat believe that there are sometimes ghost here on earth. I don't know if it is because they have died from strange ways as in murder. I will say that I am a coward and don't want to see one, or atleast I don't think so. I think there are many things out there that we do not understand.
Yes, absolutely believe, I have experienced too much not to believe that life goes on after our flesh perishes. I once lived in a haunted house, creepy stuff went on ther..some funny, some not funny, rather terrifying, actually. I have heard my deceased grandmothers voice...and thers more, but I leave myself open for new things to happen, and try to never shut my mind to things that others think are "weird" just because they don't believe in something that they have closed there imagination to..The trouble with beliefs, are that once we have them, unless you can leave your mind open, nothing new can come in..you have closed yourself off to something that may excite or enrich your life.
Of course I believe in the supernatural! My fav shows on TV are Ghost Hunters and the Ghost Whisperer. I saw an angel ghost when I was just 4 years old! I remember it like it was yesterday and I am now 49 years old!
I love any books or movies that have ghosts or anything supernatural and I love tv shows like Ghost Whisperer, but as to believing in anything supernatural I am not sure. I don't disbelieve and I don't believe.
I do belive, have seen too much wierd stuff in my life to not believe.
I believe we have a ghost in my house, and I'm not the only one to have seen it. A few friends have comment on it.
I do. This movie looks awful though. Please let someone else win this one. Don't pick me, please!!!!!
Yes I believe in the supernatural. I love shows such as Ghost Hunters that shows there is alot more then we see and know about going on around us.
Yes, i believe that they are things out there that I can't see or understand...I don't know if I believe in ghots. If anything I think people are reincarnated.
I have lived with those who no longer do...in many different locations due to many different reaons. Most are 'real', some are confused, and you run across 'evil' once in awhile. I have experienced all three types, with a boy of 12 named Tad being my favorite.
My gosh, of course I don't believe that! It's hooey!
I enjoy movies about it, though, usually.
I do believe in the supernatural to an extent. I do, however, find that is overly dramatized.
Bravo! That which does exist does not need overdramatization. If something is, it is. Not everything is the same.
I believe in the supernatural, but only in a spirits lingering here trying to teach us way, not a being possessed and eveil beings kind of way.
Oh boy do I believe in the supernatural. There are many things that science hasn't been able to prove yet and are taken on faith or belief. Spirits, good and evil are out there. I studied with John Edward the phsychic, years ago after my daughter passed away, and you can't walk away from a reading or seminar with him and not KNOW that there's something more than what we see.
as a Christian, I do believe in the Supernatural. there are Angles and there are Demons as well as spirits.
I love watching Ghost Hunters and Ghost Whisperer.
Hi Kelly,
I also love watching Ghost Hunters and Ghost Whisperer. I'm a very unhappy person when I miss a show. One of my co-workers watches it to and we talk about the next day on our breaks.
Leslie
I do believe! I saw this movie in the theater, it was amazing, I won't ruin for those who haven't seen it yet.
I avoid anything that promotes spiritism or occult practices.
Matt L. is right we do have a ghost in our house BUT that is not the reason I believe. I DO believe in ghosts and the supernatural and have from a young age. One incident that sticks out in my mind as having a one on one encounter with a ghost happened during a period I went through of being extremely skeptical and not believing. When I was about 27 years old I was over at a friends house playing cards. I had to use the restroom but someone was in it. They said they had another one upstairs but no one liked to use it because it was haunted. I didn't believe them. I said sure whatever I am not afraid. Went upstairs. When I was in the midst of peeing a closet door opened on the other side of the room, the room grew so cold i could see my breath and i heard and felt someone walking across the floor toward me. I could hear the floor creaking as it grew closer and the faucet turned on - I jumped up and ran downstairs with absolutely no doubt something had been in that room with me. I took another skeptical friend with me back upstairs and there were no wires/tape players, fans or anything to account for noises and temperature change etc. I researched their house and found that there was a study room behind the linen closet that a previous owner had hung himself in. CREEPY - in fact CREEPIEST thing I have ever experienced and I have been to many supposed haunted houses - this is the only one that has truly scared me.
When we were small kids there was a grave on our property that was enclosed by a white fence and had a tree planted at each corner (supposedly to keep the spirit trapped inside). The whole time we lived in that house the door would slam when there was no wind and other weird things would happen too - like my brother and I would both see things walking past at the same time while reading on the couch.
I don't know if it is supernatural or not but I also have dreams that sometimes happen later down to the smallest detail. I write my dreams down in a journal whenever they are vivid enough to remember then i go back to the journal and date it with the date the event actually happened and the description of the event and all the similarities.
SO I guess you would say my answer is HECK YEAH I believe in the supernatural.
Wow Kimber those are some great stories
I don't believe in the supernatural. Maybe if I won this movie and watched it, I might be convinced to believe!
Yes I do beleive. My Grandpa has visited me on several time's =)
I've always said that I believe in the possibility of the supernatural. I've never had any experiences that would fully make me believe, but I don't doubt in the existence of it either.
Know I don't. I believe a persons spirit leaves once they pass away.
yes i do. I think is very interesting. I like movies and shows like medium and i watch Syliva brown and read her books.
I am midway through her "End of Days" book - it is pretty interesting
I do, not because of anyone else's experiences only my own.
I think the Native American part of me is the part that accepts the possibility of supernatural. There is so much beyond what we can actually see. At one point we had a ghost in our house. Finally with guidance I invited her to move on and she left.
yes, I believe. Haven't had any run-in with a ghost and don't want to. It would scare me to death!
I believe in the supernatural because of stories my grandmother use to tell me
Why I believe in the existence of a supernatural reality.
1. Observation:
When I observe an object or an event with one or more of my five senses, I perceive that this object or event is real and I have had these observations my entire life.
2. Chance and probability
Chance is the occurrence of events in the absence of any obvious design or cause.
Probability is the extent to which something is likely to happen
3. Phenomena
Phenomenon is a fact or situation that is observed to exist or happen. For example Gods miracles, or other putative supernatural events are phenomena that exists are real, verifiable, and part of the laws of nature that we do not yet understand, but they did happen .
Some events occur according to natural laws, and others occur according to a separate set of principles external to nature. For example God (in most definitions) is considered to be the ultimate creator of the universe and the natural laws. But I believe in angelsand Spirits which are super natural entities.
To me supernatural is just a term for parts of nature that modern science and philosophy do not yet properly understand, similar to how sound and lightning used to be mysterious forces to science
I know someone who has these wonderous gifts. I believe in her and them.
I believe in the supernatural because it exists. I have been many different experiences, both good and bad, which have supported my belief in the supernatural. Some of those experiences go all the way back to my earliest childhood memories, including one in which I was being taken to the hospital during an asthma attack I had as a toddler. We were in my Dad's big green car, driving on a country road. I remember being held over my mother's shoulder in the car, my feet touching her pregant belly but not resting on it. Outside the passenger window, flying alongside the car, was a "person" with a serene face and a soft glow. The body of this "person" was not clearly defined, with bits of it flowing out behind like wings. Right after the "person" showed up, a police officer drove up behind us, lights flashing. I remember the car pulling around, the lights leaving temporary colored streaks in my vision (probably an effect of oxygen deprivation). The officer looked at me, then pointed at my Dad, who was driving, then pointed forward. He drove on ahead of us, and took us through every traffic light between the edge of town and the hospital.
I have also had experiences with sharing the same dream as a loved one, even when we were far apart, and have been warned in dreams more than once of dangers which turned out to be real but avoidable.
The supernatural in and of itself is not scary to me any more than the physical world is... there are scary aspects of it, just as the physical world has scary parts, but as with the physical world, scary things are just another part of every day life.
when you awake to see a full blown apparition standing in your doorway, or been hugged by someone who isn't there, it's kinda hard not to believe.
well, yes and no....I do think that there are spirits all around us. I have felt the presence of loved ones who have passed on. I feel they do come and look in and watch over us. I love watching tv series and movies about the supernatural. These have always interested me. This would be a great win, sounds like a great movie!
Growing up I so badly wanted to see a ghost. I loved reading about them, watching scary movies- anything to fill up on the supernatural, all the time. Then when I was 14 I moved into a house that was supposedly haunted and I was thrilled to death at the thought of getting to see a ghost. I was even told that they haunted the bathroom which was right next to MY bedroom! One night soon after I moved in I was talking on the phone with my boyfriend and sitting in the room next to my bedroom. The desk I was sitting at was facing the wall next to my bedroom. To go to the bathroom you came up the stairs and entered the room I was in, walked into my bedroom and then into the bathroom. As I was on the phone I heard someone come in so I told my bf to hold on- I always hated the thought of my mom or her boyfriend listening to my conversations. I didn't look at them, but saw someone walk past me out of the corner of my eye, I heard them step into my bedroom and shut the bathroom door. I made my bf hold on still because I figured my mom or her boyfriend would be out quickly but seconds turned into almost a minute and I got impatient so I started talking again. I forgot about it until an hour or so later when I went downstairs for food or a drink and found my mom and her boyfriend sitting on the couch watching a movie. I suddenly remembered someone walking into the bathroom but never coming out and asked them if they had been watching the movie for a long time. They said it was almost over. I asked if they had gotten up to use the bathroom or anything while it was on (forgetting that there was a half bathroom downstairs that would have been much more convenient for them to use) and they said that they had sat there through the whole movie. For an amateur ghost hunter that sure was a disappointing first-time experience!
The second time I saw one was when Jason and I were living in our first apartment together. We only had our son then and we came home from somewhere to a dark house. I cannot remember the specifics, I can't remember why neither of us bothered to turn on the lights when we came in but I remember Jason going into one of the bedrooms right away. I remember just standing in the living room by the front door for a few minutes. You could see the hallway from the front door- one way went to Zachary's room and the other to ours. The bathroom was on our side too. We had a semi-basement apartment so part of our place was underground. There was no way out of our bedroom and to get out of Z's bedroom you had to open a very noisy window. I remember watching Jason walk into one bedroom, then walk out of it, across the hallway where I could see him and then walk into the other bedroom. Then, I astonishedly watched him walk out of the first bedroom AGAIN! I did a double take and asked him to check out the whole apartment with the lights blazing, even though I instantly realized I had not seen anyone of this world. I wondered if it was someone I knew, like my grandfather who had passed away years before, checking on the place to be sure we were safe. Though it's always possible that it was my friend's uncle who lived on the other side of the fence behind our apartment and had killed himself a few years before, just checking the place out to see what it was like. I know that I didn't have a feeling of knowing who it was.
My oldest son has spoken of things in the past that cannot be explained and I have known people who have told me crazy stories. Had they not been my friends I would have dismissed them as totally crazy but since they were people who I was very close to I knew they would not lie about some things that could be embarassing for them to tell (boys crying, things like that).
I still love my scary movies and no matter what, I can't wait to see this one!!
Oh absolutely! I believe because I see!
The whole supernatural thing does creep me out big time but yeah, I do believe there are unseen forces of good and evil and as to why I believe that, well I can't believe that everything happened by chance!
Yes, I do believe in the supernatural. I believe God and jesus exist. They are considered supernatural because they are not of this world. I also beleve there is more out there than them. With good there is always evil.......I love the tv series supernatural. I have not missed any episode of the 4 seasons. I can't wait til it starts back up for the fifth season...call me a sci fi and vampire freak if you will. But I watch and buy any movie I can get my hands on of this type. I am a big supernatural sci fi freak.
YES! I believe in the supernatural. My son who is three years old now had quite an experience himself. Not that he saw it as an experience but I sure did. At the time my uncle had passed away a year and a half ago in a fire. One morning my son, Liam started talking about how Gruncle (his name for him) would come and see him. He went on with his story saying he plays his guitar in town. He also said he was black. He was white so I can only assume it had something to do with the fire??? He proceeded to give many details about things he could never possible know. Also keep in mind he was only about a year old when my uncle died. If I was ever skeptical before (which I wasn't ) after hearing that how could anyone be??
yes, I believe in the supernatural. I love watching shows like ghost whisperer etc.. I also like watching jonathan edwards and the new women with the streak in her hair speaking with a british accent.
I have had unexplained things happen in my house, closet doors that click shut, opening... I would then shut it, to find that it is open again, when i go back into the room.. (with no one being home). Heavy shampoo bottles dropping when no one has been in the bathroom for hours.
At my sisters house in maine, i actually see a dark streak flash by near the front door.
My sister and I were having fun at an antique barn looking at things, and when we went upstairs, something talked through my mouth. it said "do not go further, look with your eyes, and back out." and kept repeating it over and over. we backed out slowly. it wasn't until we went past the threshhold of the doorway, that it stopped talking through me and I looked at my sister and burst out crying.
finally, when we were looking to buy a house, there was a beautiful designer home, but during my tour, i became scared and ran to the broker and told her. that night i had a nightmare that i was suffocating. i woke up and told my husband. My husband loved the house and went several times to see it. I ended up saying strange things like: we can buy it if you want, but i'll have nightmares every night. Needless to say, we didn't buy the house. Months later, I saw the broker and said, "what ever happened to that beautiful house" and she said "I thought of you when i heard that the wife who owned the house, had driven into her garage and died of carbon monoxide poisoning (her car). that's why he was selling the house." yikes!
Yes I believe in the supernatural. I am a religious woman also. As for why-well I like the story of the first time I saw a ghost. I was in elementary school and I went into the bathroom and between the shower curtain and the tub something was kicking the curtains back and forth. Boy did I run out of there in a hurry!
I also enjoy reading about it and have a ton of books on the paranormal. I love watching specials and shows about it. Hm...speaking of supernatural in religious forms, we once had a hamster that my brother and I think to this day was pocessed. why? I made a cross in front of it with it's deep glowing red eyes and it went beserk. Creepppyyy!
Edit: We thought the hamster was strange to begin with, it's eyes were red and it didn't act right. It made weird noises (unlike the other hamster who btw stayed away) and hated sunlight. So, thinking it was pocessed (it also made screeching noises) I made a cross in front of it. Oh wow, its eyes glowed and it flipped out crying and going beserk. Afterwards it became a normal hamster, no red eyes or anything, but still creepy!
I believe in Ghost for sure . The house I lived in in Michigan was full of them.
Built in 1904 the house was very large and split into 2 flats . Once I was brushing my hair while looking in the mirror at my little vanity . I felt to hands on my shoulders , they were definitely mans hands very strong. they squeezed my shoulders like someone would do from behind kinda like a supporting gesture. I was alone in the house and there was nothing in the mirror in front of me , I have heard dishes being washed in the sink when no one was in the kitchen and my dog would cry and bark at nothing . So yes I believe in the supernatural and I absolutely love spooky movies :)
Yes, I believe in the supernatural and scary movies about demons freak me out if they are realistic enough.
I agree I feel this way about the movie the Exorcism of Emily Rose maybe its my Catholic up bringing but gosh that movie it really scared me Ive only ever seen it once and even my Husband will not watch it again , way to freaky
When I was a teenager me and my mother lived in a house where when I would leave the house my mother would say that my stereo would come on in my room full blast and would shut off just right before I returned home and several times when I would be out she swore that she would see me walking past her door to the kitchen when I wouldn't even be there. It was freaky. Then when I got married with my husband we used to live in an apartment where alot of freaky stuff would happen like things would just start falling off our wall and one night our bathroom door just slammed shut on its own and in the night it felt like something was hovering over us looking at us and I always slept with the blankets over my face because I felt like something was there. I've had alot of experiences so I guess I would say yes.
yes, I believe in the supernatural. on the day my Mom passed away we were driving up to the funeral home to make the arrangements when a car hit us from behind. when the police came and took the report. we noticed that the lady that hit our car had the same last name as my Mom. she also had the same first initial. J. when we told the police and the person that hit us they were in awe. I also have taken photos before where I picked up a few orbs.
Good luck to everyone. Too scary for me.
Totally believe in the supernatural. I have seen things that just can't be explained otehrwise and had things happen that are unexplainable.
I believe in things we can't explain like me getting a sense/aura of peace (during a meeting) that when my grandmother passed she would be so excited to see my mom again. It turned out that happened at about the same time that she passed away.
OMG I love this stuff! PLEASE PICK ME! I am a huge fan of the supernatural genre.
I do believe in certain parts of the supernatural. I believe in ghosts/spirits so on. I am glad I am not gifted in this way! I love to learn about it though.
Oh yes, I believe in the supernatural. Actually I believe that the supernatural is just nature we have yet to understand.
I have had things happen to me to make me a believer.
First, my Uncle was always talking about a house he lived in with his family that was haunted and told stories of the activities of the ghost. I once took a pic of the house to a medium at a seminar I went to and without me telling her she said that house was haunted by a child who had died by accident in the front yard. The things that the ghost did did fit that of a childs pranks.
Second. I was haunted by something myself for a while and even had a prist help me to get rid of it. I also had a para-normal group look into it and give me suggestions to beat it. It use to terrorise me in my sleep. It wasn't just dreams, even the prist agreed to that.
Third, I have had Angel experiences and believe it was an angel that eventually help break the hold of that evil spirit on me. Thats a long story for another time.
NOPE there is a reasonable explaination for everything and no TV show or movie is ever gonna sway me otherwise
I believe and have seen my rocking chair rock more than once when I'm the only one here.
I don't believe in the supernatural. I've never experienced anything weird to make me a believer.
I do believe in the Supernatural. I wasn't as big on it before I met Terry. I was a believer but not a huge one. She is the ultimate in that category.
We were spending a weekend up in New Hope PA. a few years back. Which is known for some of it's supernatural happenings. Her and I were walking around in a store that specialized in supernatural things and other elements of that nature. I walk past this one area and felt something brush against the nape of my neck. It sent a chill right through me and raised the hair on my arms. I told her about it but than just kept walking around. A few minutes later in a spot only a few feet from the first time, it happened again. We continued on through the store after I told her about it again.
While we were checking out we struck up a conversation with the owner of the store. I told her the whole stort. She asked which spot it happened at. I told her and she told me that particular spot was right where a man had been hung back in the 1700's after being falsely accused of a crime. The spot where I had felt the brushing against my neck would have been exactly where his feet would have been swinging!!!!!!!
Funny thing after that is that the next day Terry and I go on a "Ghost Tour". We get to that store which is a part of it because of previous happenings there. As we get there the owner of the store, who doesn't notice me standing there starts relaying the whole story to the lady that was running the Tour.
I said to Terry, "imagine that from here on out I am not going to only be going on these tours when we go places. I am going to be a part of one!
Both her and I thought it was awesome! Although I think she may have just been a little jealous that the "ghost" picked me and not her :-)
I am hoping that there is a huge supernatural presence now and that my recently departed sister comes to visit me soon and guides me on some things that I have to do with her family!
Bob,
As long as you believe in your entire being, physical and spiritual, that your sister will be 'available for contact', it can happen. remember though, they do not seek us for approval that they have died and can become part of a living world as apparitions; rather they become available to our 'intune receptors' of life (not like we know it) from the other side. I really hope you both make 'contact' and I would be intrigued to hear how it goes . . .
hugs dear friend and sorry I haven't come by to see you here at gather more recently !
I believe in the supernatural. My grandmother used to tell us story of a haunted house she had lived in. I have also lived in a house where a presence could be felt.
I highly believe in the supernatural world. I am an avid ghosthunter, and can't wait till ths Oct. to go on a new ghosthunting trip in Chicago plus the Weird Hunt. I have lived with spirits, good and bad. In our old home we had a "friendly" spirit that would turn off lights throughout the house if we weren't in the room. DH used to hear him walk around upstairs when he was in the basement. It wasn't anything scary, it was just something we got use to. We later found out the room our son was in was actually the bedroom of the old owner who had passed away there.
The "scary" spirit was on one of our first apts. We lived there for only three weeks, we had to move because it was too unpleasant, and to this day no renters stay more than a month there. My worse experience there was when I heard my son crying. I got up and when I got to his room, it felt like I was wlking through a black fog. It was cold and heavy. I could see my son was sound asleep, but I could still hear him cry. I finally got into his room and ended up crawling next to him in bed, I refused to go back into the hallway. Two days later we moved out after my dh helped the landlord rip up the carpet, there was satanic marks on the floor...that was our time to leave.
Via movies, well, I am a horror buff all the way. Unborn I can tell you was originally an Asian movie that scared the pants out of me, and I would really like to see the American version...hoping it too well scare the pants out of me.
Don't put my name in for the movie, please. I just want to join the conversation.
When my lifemate took me back to WV to meet his mom, we found her in the process of moving. Her new place had a staircase that came down to a landing, with a big window, and then turned and continued to the lower floor. I swear every time I walked down those stairs I felt something angry and malevolent at my back wanting to shove me through the window. The energy was strong, I'd smudge and smudge and still only feel safe in our room, and sometimes not even then.
Lights would turn on and off; sometimes you'd turn the kitchen light off for the night and when you came down the next morning it would be precisely in the middle position on switch, flipped neither on, nor off. Just sitting there.
The worst was that feeling of something wanting to PUSH you on the stairs, though. I'd always walk down very, very carefully. Right before we moved out, it finally did shove me and make me lose my balance, but I was near the bottom by then and caught myself. I might have thought I was imagining the feeling on the stairs, but for that, and the fact that the lifemate shared that he was feeling it, too. I wasn't the only one who noticed the light switches, either. I was so glad to be out of there.
I've had psychic experiences all my life, and know a certain valley I can go to and have glowing blue orbs come dance around me. I've experienced trickster spirits, too, who liked to pick up images from the lifemate's horror books and play pranks based on them. Nothing has been as horribly creepy as that house.
I believe the earth itself and everything on it has a spirit including the air and that we each have a spirit. When anything dies, that spirit joins with the other spirits or stays where it dies. Reference oras and chakras, also the Qaballa.
Expanding on that, each solar system has one as do to the universe and parallel universes.
These spirits, along with the creational, emotional and intuitional spirits all combined are the Blessed, The God.
I do not watch horror movies, and have no wish to receive one.
As of right now I'm unsure if I believe in the supernatural. However, I tell everyone that I wish that I would just see something because that way I would now for sure. Right now I'm like well there may be ghosts, spirits etc. or there might not.
Hey Crystal,
Perhaps the feeling of 'there might not' is the reason the channel has remained close. Open your soul, let the spirit forego the ego and apparitions and other sorts of 'supernatural' goings on will be picked up on by you. While in doubt, the door remains closed . . .
I most definately believe in the supernatural, myself and my family have had too many experiences; for me not to. My sister lives in my grandparent's old house, and has experienced lights and timers going on and off; heard voices when there was no reason to- and has had a fire suddenly start in the fireplace for no reason. One of my aunt and uncle's friends saw someone walk out of their fireplace in their living room. My mom saw my grandpa standing in the corner of her bedroom one morning, she thought it was a burglar at first; and was ready to go get her gun- but he was gone already when she looked again.
I do believe in the Supernatural. I think we live in a world of infinite possibilities, and just because you can't see or touch something does not make it not real. I also think that the movie idea of Supernatural is sometimes very far-fetched, but there are different dimensions and things we are not necessarily meant to understand.
Yes I truely Believe In The supernatural For Many reason's
My Aunt Is a Morman andwas With My Mother and Grandma When She Passed away and My aunt said That there father was there In the room with them and was coming to take My Grand Mother with Him Home..
And The Other Reason Is Because when My dad colapsed and Rushed to the Hospital The doctors Told Us He Had a Major Heart attack and they Had Him sudated that He could Probally Hear Us But thats about it I was In the Room with My Father alone Holding His Has and talking to Him and all of a sudden He opened his Eyes and squzed My Hand and tryed to Say Somthing to Me I Just couldnt Make It Out. The doctors said It was Just a reflex But It wasnt I Knwo It wasnt He Was trying to tell Me something 3 days later My father Passed away and The Night He Passed away I went Home and Cried Myself to Sleep and In My dreams I remember Like it was Yesturday even tho It has Been 14 Yrs Now My father Came to Me That Night He passed away and told Me He had to tell me something and to Please Not Be a scared My father went On to telling Me In My dreams that the Hospital Made a Mistake and thats why He died and that I Needed to tell My Mother to check Into it and that He loved Us and To Tell My sibling He was there with Us all and watching Over Us till We were Ok..
I then woke Up and cried My eyes Out and called my mother and asked My mother to check Into The surgery That They did On My father the day Before He passed away My mother asked Why I said Please Just check Into It...
My mother did and the Hospital Did Do something wrong But they were covering It Up and My mother Knew It and Called Me and asked Me How I Knew I said you wont Believe Me But the Night Dad Passed away He came to Me In my dreams and told Me to tell you..
My mother then called My aunt who Is a Morman and told Her to tell Me That It wasnt really a dream that He came to Me Because He thought I could Handle it the Best and that If I had another Dream Not To Be Scared That This Is His Way Of talking to Me..
After that One dream and after I told My Mother the Next Day The dreams stopped so Yes I Believe In The supernatural And always Will
Oh! someone threw in some bad code!
Getting a really crazy view of this page starting with Bento's post.
Is it caused by some supernatural force?
I'm not sure if what we call supernatural isn't actully the natural we don't see often, if at all. It's there, we just don't pay attention. Movies make it all look bad and crazy, but it could be a force that's actually helpful to us.
I love reading about and thinking about and discussing the supernatural. However, I feel that neither I, nor anyone can say with true conviction that the supernatural do or do not exist. They're interesting to think about, but ultimately it is is not for us to know quite yet.
I definitely believe in the supernatural to some degree. I've always had strange things happen to me, whether it is just "feeling" a presence in the room with me, or actually experiencing things being moved from a place where I had put them.
I have always felt strange feelings in my grandmother's house, and one time before we went out, I left a shoe on the bed. I even photographed it. We left the house to go out, and the house was empty the entire time we were gone. When I got home, the shoe was UNDER the bed. It's weird, because it always seemed that my shoes were most often the "target" that got moved.
I just have a feeling that things like this are real. I won't go so far as to say it's ghosts. Who knows what it is? Demons? Angels? Ghosts? Spirits? Whatever it is, I believe it exists.
Oh, another reason I should win this? I'm a total Cam Gigandet fangirl. DANG is that man sexy or what?!
Of course I believe in the supernatural. There are things far beyond this earth that I believe in and can't explain.
Miracles are supernatural, angles, demons, spirits... God!
How cool! Sounds like a good flick!
Gosh do I believe in the paranormal? Absolutely! Ever since I was in high
school I'd go to haunted places. At that time we'd incorporate it with our
Summer family trips. I covered many places those years - some were
later on the show Montel Williams (Union Cemetery.) Now I go with my
Husband and son, and on occasion with my mom. I've seen proof that
there's life after death and some of these places I'm certain the claims
are real about (Summerwind, Witch Road) I've posted articles here on
Gather about many of my investigations. The Witch Road one was
spotlighted on the Discovery Channel's A Haunting - the Legend Tripper
episode. Our names were changed and the story changed a bit, but we
called Chad and verified it was our story. :-) The original story of our
account there is published here on Gather. :)
I believe in the supernatural, because I've experienced it.
I do not like fictionalized horror/scare films, however. They are nothing
close to the truth.

yes i do believe in the supernatural :) and i just loooove horror movies. i havent seen this one yet, it sounds good
I definitely believe in the supernatural, but I don't believe in demons and I don't like horror movies. I'm not trying to win, just making the point that believing in the supernatural does NOT have to include believing in demonic ghosts. I believe in malevant ghosts; if a person is bad in life, he might be bad after life, but he won't have much power anymore.
This is a complicated world. Things exist on a broader spectrum than what can currently be explained through "rational" channels.
I believe in the supernatural, but probably not like that. I don't think that 'ghosts' mean us any harm. But, are just there. Even if my daughter had not met a ghost herself and freaked the heck out of me when she talked about playing with this little boy! I think recent events would make me believe in ghosts as well. After my brother died we went to the store to pick up some pictures of him for the funeral and as soon as the printer hit the picture of him showing us 'the finger' the printer jammed! Mom and I had a good laugh because Trenton hated to see pictures of himself and that would have been so like him to do that. Then some friend's of my sister brought by some flowers for the family and it was sitting on the dressor in the living room when all of a sudden it knocked over! No one was around, but it just whisked onto the floor and there was a mess. Sadly, these 'supernatural' happenings ended right when my brother was cremated, so I think that may have something to do with the absence of these things happening. It is still very interesting.
I do believe Horatio, infact I think its arrogent not to.
I believe in the supernatural, in that we have spirits that continue to exist after our bodies die, but have never seen an evil spirit. I know there are spirits because one came to visit me when I was pregnant with my 3rd child. Also, I have mischievous spirits in my house that hide things from me (but give them back when I ask for them).
I think some supernatural force just ate the last half of this thread!
see that? nope... bet ya didn't! It has corrected itself.
when I tried to read the comments they were cut in half.
I blame Freddy Kruger!
I've always been terrified of Ghosts and monsters under my bed, So I'm assuming they're real
I've had encounters with ghosts, so yes, I believe. I'm also a horror movie fanatic - and would LOVE to add this to my collection!
I am a factual, believe it when I see it sort of person and I have yet to see anything that I would call supernatural. I am not saying that I don't believe, just that the jury is still out.
I'm always open to something fantastic like that, but it hasn't happened ... yet ... not to me ... I always feel so left out.
But if I win this DVD I'll feel "lucky", at least !!! Woot !!!
Nope. Never had anything supernatural happen to me. I don't even watch these types of movies but good luck to whomever wins.
I definitely believe in the supernatural--between what J.B Rhine used scientifically to prove and what Eileen garrett a famous medium did see and hear, and of course my own personal understanding of my gift of clairvoyance--it exists. Please do not include me in the DVD giveaway because that movie is NOT one I need to see to explain that which I am beginning to comprehend. Hollywood is fluent in scaring us, but there is more truth to movies based on reality than just fictional story . . . I have contacted quite a few of the responders here who also believe and i hope I connect with each and everyone.
Thank you for posting and sharing this Stephanie and have a great day or night, BOO !
Exclude from draw
No, I don't, though I don't think that's a requirement for enjoying movies that are based on the premise such things exists.
I don't want to win this one, though--just here to add some balance.
I do believe in the supernatural. I believe all things are possible if you have real faith. I had a friend who died on the table in the emergency room, but when some of the members of his church started to pray he was revived.
I do believe in spooks. I do I do I do I do I do!
You do, You do, you do believe in spooks!
I do believe in the supernatural. There is too much going on the science can't explain. Years ago the night my Grandmother died - before I even got the call that she had passed, I was in bed reading and there she was, she sat down on my bed and tolsd me how much she loved me and that everything was going to be alright. She was going to meet my Grandfather and he was going to take her with him to a new home. Then just a suddenly as she appeared she was gone. The next morning I received a call from my sister saying that she had passed away in the night. So yes I do believe.
I do because I believe in things like that and I know there are things that have happened before in my life. I would love to win also =)
