My son received the book The Spiderwick Chronicles from Gather to read and post a book report about. First he was excited that he got something in the mail. Then he got more excited when he found out that it was a book. He loves to read. This is his first book report. Hope you enjoy it!

After their Mommy and Daddy divorce Jared, Simon and Mallory Grave move with their mommy to live in their Great Aunt Lucida's House. The house is old and huge. It has lots of secret places. The kids find a book that is about weird magical creatures. Some of the creatures are scary and cool.
I liked this book! It was really fun to read. (Don't tell anyone but my mommy had to help me read it a little bit and I think she liked it too.) I can't wait to see this movie. But most of all I can't wait to read the next book. I love to read.
