Is McCain Getting Ready to Drop Palin off the Republican Ticket?

The investigation into whether Sarah Palin abused her power is set to publish a report in October before the November election.

So when it shows that more than likely she did in fact abuse her power...once again...how fast will McCain drop her and who will he pick as his new running mate?

I vote Mitt Romney.

This is the first time I've even heard this mentioned. Off the top of my head, I'd say I doubt McCain will drop Palin. I just don't think he'd do it, but thanks for posting this. I'll keep my eyes and ears open, however.

I'm not sure if he will. It will depend on the poll numbers at the time, just like her selection was based on poll numbers and not the ability to fill in if McCain wasn't able to to complete his term.

The investigation will have to run it's course but it may be interesting to see how a ticket with the VP candidate facing charges may do nationally.
McCain can't afford to go with someone the public is already bored with. I'm betting on Donald Duck. Uncle Scrooge has never backed a candidate before, preferring to place bribes as necessary. The canny canard financier thinks that McCain will be the ideal tool to enhance the level of the money bin.

They're tap dancing so fast to keep the investigation from going forward, I'm afraid it won't be completed before the election. If I weren't an atheist, I'd pray I'm wrong, but I really am afraid they'll block it until it's too late.

Actually the real question is how much longer is blowhard Biden going to last? Also with the revelation that 1/3rd of those sophisticated white democrats are have misgivings about "coloreds", it's no wonder why Obama can't get above 50% in the polls. Hopefully one of these accusations against Palin will stick or the democrats might possibly find yet another way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

I think Palin will prove to be a tar-baby for McCain. It isn't her fault, it is totally McCain's doing. But the fact is that he chose her despite her lack of qualifications for that high office. He admits that he did something really bad if he drops her and if he doesn't replace her then he shows the voters his contempt for them.

Can he replace Palin now that the Republican Convention has "spoken"?

He won't drop her. The power players for the GOP and McBush camp will make sure the probe is delayed, if not stopped. Once McBush is in office he will make sure to pardon everyone involved in the cover up.

I don't know where these Democrats who won't vote for a Black man are. I've done weeks of surveys in southern states. They are not here. We've spoken with too many 70 and 80 year olds who will tell you they were born Democrat and they'll die a Democrat. And they are all white. John McCain was doing well to get a nods up one time a night.
