Maybe they need that Miss USA candidate to help "get them some maps.." or whatever she once said. Maybe they were temporarily possessed by the spirit of Gerry Ford (who was from Grand Rapids)? I hope that all these wonderful moments of sheer illiteracy are being meticulously documented. On the bright side, Michael Palin is apparently also running for President!! Jesus H. Christ. When are people going to admit that she is one big joke? I heard a part of one of her speeches the other night on The Daily Show - calling the audience, "Guys and Gals" while she was addressing the sucky economy.

I do not want my leaders referring to citizens of this great country as "folks", "guys", or "gals".

It's not funny anymore. Time to admit that this was just a joke and take on somebody serious as GOP VP candidate.
