Do you remember the good ole' days when gas seemed expensive at $1.87 a gallon? Bill Clinton was President then. It's hard to believe that gas could go up so much in eight years. But then again, the dollar was actually worth a dollar then.

I remember it getting down to like $0.33 and $0.35 per gallon. Yes, in MY lifetime...
Larry, I think it's the speculators who buy the rights to buy future commodities. I don't pretend to understand it all, just that when speculation starts, profits for the few and mighty go up, and the middle americans and worker bees, pay the cost.

When was the last time we seen a sustained decrease in any prices?
I also remember Dad explaining the 9 as tax when I questioned him. Such is life.
