Elsie fell the other day, the same day she came down with a cold so today her daughter (my best friend took) her to hospital for xrays and other tests. She was supposed to fly home to British Columbia tomorrow but she is staying for another week. We want her to be well!
Since I stopped by I took the pooch Nicki out for a while to see the sights. It helps him not miss his mistress so much. This house is part of the Jordan Museum, Jordan, Ontario
Then we went to the lake. A very cold north wind was blowing across from Toronto so Nicki and I didn't stay long. You can see Toronto across the lake in this photo.
It was very cold by the lake - Burrrr
Then Nicki and I went to the grocery store and he stayed in the car - so did my camera.
On the way home we took a detour through the cemetery.
I returned Nicki to my friends house. My friends husband was home to keep Nicki company and Elsie would be home soon.
What did the doctor say? - Elsie has a cracked rib and a bad cold but is on the mend.
Get well soon Elsie!
I'm going to miss Nicki when he heads west next week. I'm going to miss Elsie too.
