It's 90 degrees out with 50% humidity and the blood is flowing...
It's a gorgeous summer day here in Kansas City. After class this morning, I finally persuaded a friend to come and play basketball with me. I don't know why, but it can be the hardest thing to get med students to do anything outside of their normal routine. Anyways, I now remember why playing 1 on 1 is so much harder than playing with more people. If you're not on offense, you're on defense. Essentially, you're moving around at all times with no chance to take a break. Ultimately, I ended up beating my friend Ramy, but towards the end, we were both taking water breaks much more frequently. At least we got the blood flowing. How about you, what do you like to do to get your blood flowing?

Now, I play tennis and ride horses. I've been thinking of training for a 5k then a 10k, but I apparently need some motivation. I'm only 26, but I'm not getting and younger.
I'm taking a long walk as soon as I get home.....
I went to the gym for an hour and worked with free weights and weight machines.
Sounds like you had quite a workout.
Even though I live in the KC area, I do everything in celsius.... :P
I've been doing housework and tomorrow I NEED to mow the lawn. That's what I do to get the blood flowing.
Name it- I will try it.
Dodgeball is always fun- but I get hit sometimes...I have not played in years
