THANKS FOR ASKING, LEFT YOU A VERY LONG COMMENT VERY EARLY THISMORN. ABOUT YOUR CLASS, MORE RAIN IS COMING, TOOK A HOT BATH, TIME TO LAY DOWN AND RELAX HAVE A GREAT DAY.
Good morning! Just dropping by to wish everyone a great day! I can not wait until 3:30 I do not feel great today just hanging in there until work is over. Then I am going to sleeeeeep!
Yes Diane, late last night a lightning bolt went off within a quarter mile of me and it sounded like an explosion and then I could hear the sound reverbarate.
hello Dan!!! Just doing my Gather things, trying to get back in the right frame of mind after an emotionally taxxing week... nevermind, you really don't want to know..
and trying to get all of my metals for recycling together, time to cash in for the paycheck....
I should be getting ready for work, but can't seem to get motivated. It is snowing everywhere around Seattle, but not in Seattle....so schools are open, which means I have to go to work. As I'm the only one in my department who lives in Seattle, I bet I'm the only one who will be there on time.
Santos my rescue dog of 6 weeks, went to his first class night and at the end of the class they graduated him from level one to level two. I am so happy!!!!
my brother who is a welder recycles his scrap metal, the last time he went scrapping he did not make much and he was dissappointed that he did not make much money this time
Lets see, I made coffee, went to the bathroom, got a smoke and a cup of coffee and took the dog out. Sat on the deck for a while watching the squirrels chase each other, mild here today, storms passing through. Will be putting Christmas stuff back into the garage.
Actually I went to the bathroom first then I had the coffee. It's getting really windy here, I hope the tree out back can stand it. Part of it fell last year, no damage, but it's still laying in the back yard, our landlord is really slow on getting it cleared out.
Lol, well Vicky, you could have had the coffee while going to the bathroom and then it would have seemed like it was going in one end and out the other (I probably just grossed out a few people).
Nothing touched down by us. On the other side of town and in small towns north and south of us they did. Toward the end there were 80-100 mile an hour winds that knocked over my son's basketball hoop. He is very upset about that.
OK, she's dead(not). Jessica my daughters house is haunted, we have all seen or heard the ghosts that reside there. There are at least 3 that we know of, a man who shaves in the upstairs bathroom, a little girl and a women who haunts the stairs. It's a great house, and no one has ever felt threatened.
Mornin' Dan. I am relaxing today. The kids went back to school yesterday and I am just going to enjoy the peace and quiet while I get back into my daily routine.
my mom lives in a haunted house. She's seen a tall shadow walk down the hallway, has felt like being watched, etc. The scariest story she's told me was she felt that "watched" feeling at night (woke her up) and the blankets started to get pulled off her bed when suddenly a voice (presumably a 2nd ghost) said "No!" and the pulling stopped. Creepy, huh?
me too Dan. A lot of people's homes were demolished. I think we are fortunate. It's just that basketball hoops are really important to 11 year old boys who are playing on a basketball team and have been practicing every day.
Well Jessica, I was out late last night helping a friend and back behind their house is a large shed and the wind was blowing it open and closed and it freaked me out a few times (especially in the dark).
Due to the time difference i have been to work and come home walked the hounds on a really wet grey day and i am having a few minutes on Gather before I start on the dinner
We had unseasonably warm weather-70ish, and then a cold front was coming in from the west. Perfect set up for thunderstorms and tornadoes. It is not tornado season at all. A couple of years ago we had one the day after Christmas.
Morning Dan. Hope things go better for you tonight. I know how awful nightmares can be. I used to get terrible nightmares often. You may not believe this, or being the medical type you may, but you can train yourself to "lucid" dream. It takes a while, but once you've faced a nightmare and told yourself that it was a dream while you were still asleep, it becomes easier and easier. I have very few nightmares now. Who can say for sure if I really chased them away or not, but I'm not afraid now because I know I can face them and even wake up if I need to.
Whew! That was a mouthful. I wish my day wasn't going to be so hectic. You know I just discovered yesterday after months of owning this computer that it has voice recognition software and I just now realized that I could've been using it to type this response the whole time. Silly me. Have a great day, Dan!
Hello Dan, how are you. coming from Pasadena, Ca. It has rained off and on for a solid two weeks, we very much needed the rain, we have had so many fire's, so now rocks and part of hill with homes are falling down. Today looks like it will be a very nice day, my mood seems to go with the weather , as well my pain level, so today looks like it will be a very nice day. Hop[e you have a good day, must leave now, get to other e-mails here at gather. have a good one, your friend D............... 10* God Bless us all.
Good morning/ afternoon everyone! Don't forget to visit us at today's Gather Globe article to find out about all the wonderful things happening on Gather! The Operation: Gather Greetings contest is ending today, so please hurry if you haven't sent in your greetings. :o)
Our snow is gone! it's 50 degrees, foggy and it smells like spring! I think this is the January thaw. Since this is Michigan, I have no doubt that the winter temperatures and snow will be back soon.
Rain last night. Bright sunshine and 80 degrees. It's what makes Florida. Born here, home here. Glad I don't have to leave in a few days like many on our roads. Sorry so many others are have tornadoes (does that word have an e when plural?) and others snowed aboive the roof tops.
Dropping by to spread some love....LOL...Hope everyone is having a good day. Hospice came today and they say my grandma has about 24 hours left tops...they can tell that by her breathing. The hospice workers are wonderful...I will keep you all posted.

I like to do brass too, but I haven't picked up any of that lately..
not bad for just picking up the litter from my neighborhoods....
might as well try to recycle newsprint @...$20/ton....
I heard there were 60 different tornadoes.
