Good morning gatherers. We've reached the weekend before New Years and I hope you've already made your plans. Have you taken the time to be introspective and evaluate your life and see what resolutions you'd like to make? How successful have you been with keeping resolutions in the past? How are you this morning?

Essentially, by "year of the Matt", he was making a resolution to live life for him for once, to be happy, and to not live being concerned by how others viewed him.

I am always doing everything for everyone else and neglecting myself. So this years resolution (one of em) was to do more for me .. live for me .. make me more important in my life! :)

OMG! I actually got here while it's STILL MORNING LOL! Amazing.

No resolutions for me... I'm not a goal-setter because I trip over life's monkey wrenches all the way there. On the other hand, I do have hopes for the New Year: I've applied for a job and won't know if I'm getting it until February at this point.

I lost 35 pounds last year. I changed my eating habits and I became more active.

Umm .. of coarse i am pregnant now so I will probably get some of that back!

However .. I must let you know once you start losing the weight it actually gets easier to keep losing because then you get motivated :)

Ditto Matt, but add a senior graduating from high school and a need to find what I need, get back on track with a job/career where I want to be, and live where I want to be for the next 40 years. (if I live that long) No guarantees someone won't come back home to the nest....and that's OK...

Never made a resolution, I just decide on things during the year!
I am very a little better each day, yes last year I did keep mine, stopped smoking. This year is to lose 10 pounds which I always put on during the weather months than summer is comes off easier. To always respect and care for the needs of others with prayer or whatever is ask of me. I wish you a very happy New Year full of laughter, love and happiness

My 'hopes' for the New Year are that I make a better job being a freelance worker...wish me luck!

hello ..... its hard to get in on the morning chat when I slept in again...winter break is the time I take advantage of staying up real late and sleeping in !!! so I missed it and will tomorrow too ...just too let you know I am thinking about a list of doalbe resolutions ...if you wont do them there is NO sense in making them...at least in my opinion !!!!
