I just got done knocking out a wall in one of my houses to unbury a closet that some idiot drywalled over. We cut out the doorway and made a framework around it. It was fun but I sure was covered in dirt and dust when I was done. I am surprised the grime did not clog my drains when I took a shower. Tomorrow is an all day training for cub scout leaders. What fun!
Colorado is a mix of the height of the Rockies and the low of the plains. I have a brother and his family who live in Colorado Springs, the best of both those worlds, his words, and a cousin in Littleton. I know little about that city. Where have you considered in Colorado to live?
We're going to bed early. We had flu shots earlier today and my husband has the chills, a sore throat, and is achey. I just have a headache, which could be the flu shot or just my stressful day. Aren't we fun...
Just got back from a community reading of my play LUMPs. Money was made to help support a non-profit organization, good conversations, excellent readers and two people are interested in bringing it to their area. One woman had some questions about mammograms and I learned about a program not an hour away for free ultra-sounds. It was a good evening.

out at the acupuncturist, bank a friends and grocery store, now to watch Moonlight, great vampire! Tomorrow a friend is stopping by then sunday have some party benefiting YES, sort of like the Peace Corps, then to Hollywood Blvd for the Mods & Rockers Festival. British invasion cover band and sixties prices. Three consecutive Sundays, looks like fun! Sciatica is killing me again. Just wrote on Sexy Sadie's nightly chat line too!
Today I was asked to help decorate our historic courthouse for our Thanksgiving Parade, Float Contest, and Musical after all outdoors activities are over. It will be fun, our theme this year is "Having an Old-Fashioned Christmas," so decorating for that will be fun! Then , later this month we will decorate the "Abbey". The old Ursiline High School, were the musical and the booths and crafts and food will be. Then I am gonna do what I can around here, before I go back to work. Ellen B

I went to bed pretty early last night, as I have been lately because I generally rise at 5am on school days. I will not have to do so until Tuesday... but my internal clock is now set so I likely won't stay up too terribly late. : )
it is now Sat 4PM here in Scotland and I am being lazy sitting here in my armchair with the laptop ,,just chatting to all of my new friends here on gather , xx
