love lies in the give and take of life, freeing each other to do what we love.
love lies in ed watching lillie, whilst i take the kayak out at dusk - just me and my camera, and my paddle, eyes wide open. this is my favorite thing to do, my favorite time of day, my favorite place. he knows this, and lets me be.
love lies in the warm muted colors of sunset, leaning up against each other at water's edge, murmuring softly while lillie swims in the shallows.
love lies peacefully, content in its ever-expanding knowledge and joyous fulfilment in our lives.

And you are right, that is love.
Oh, to be so talented. I best love the rippling water with grasses.
My favorite of all these photos is the second from the last. The colors and textures are awesome. You are one talented lady. Thanks for sharing the beauty of your lake.

Thank you for sharing yourself so vividly.

Your photo stories are always such a delicious feast.
Two themes; the natural environment and the face of a child.
Two things that are impossible for me to see and not feel
enriched.
I hope you don't mind but I just saved your lillypad picture as my desktop background. Now it's the first thing I see when I use my computer.
I know you copyright your work. Do I pay you royalties for it's use? Let me know where to send the payment, please.
but dannielle's storm on the lake is right up there.
