For years I traveled all over the globe in my work. Because I worked in public health I took for granted that everyone else who was traveling did what we did….looked for & followed the med-health bulletins issued by the CDC. In this day of influenza pandemics, Ebola virus, AIDs, etc. people need to be much more cautious about where they travel. Good information is available for free form the CDC web site. Check it out it may save your life!

The Influenza Pandemic, Ebola and AIDS present absolutely ZERO necessary constraints when traveling. No one is going to get Ebola regardless of where they travel, AIDS is a disease that is passed to individuals through bodily fluids and has nothing at all to do with travel unless you plan on sexual relations with people in the Congo or Nigeria and the definition of a Pandemic is such that you're as likely to get H1N1 flu here as you are anywhere else.
So exactly where would you suggest we don't travel to? New York City?

John.....public health advisories are just that advise.....they NIH & the CDC as well as the WHO all want to make people aware of possible diseases.....I remeber when they first bubonic plague arrived in the USA from Kazakhstan in 1991...! It shook up a lot of people...! Was it something that most would get? no...but it was soemthing that [people needed to be aware of definitely.

The CDC, WHO and NIH have an agenda dictated by the corporate world and their motives are determined by profit. That's the reason the Swine Flu was changed to N1H1. The pork lobby got nervous and the government responded. The factula data conclude that the Swine Flu was likely the product of large scale factory farms or CAFOs but one wouldn't know that from listening to the CDC, WHO or NIH. That's because they would never admit it publicly.
Bubonic Plague from Kazakhstan huh. Glad I missed being shooken up by that. Never heard of it. Obviously the people that were shooken up by that were affected beneficially. That shake up probably kept them from getting it?

Surely you're awaiting your Swine Flu shot, right? I mean 36,000 people die every year in the US from the regular flu and presumably many are vaccinated. With the several dozen global deaths from Swine Flu we should vaccinate the globe, right? That's what the CDC, WHO and NIH would have us believe, right?

John...I do not have to address your concerns! The CDC, NIH & the WHO all saw to it that travelers into the areas were made aware of the possibiity of contracting the disease and others. They also saw to it that supplies of plague vaccine were on hand in the areas of occurence and they saw to it that physicians/healthcare workers were made aware of what to look for in diagnosing the illness since this illness is not one that rears its ugly head often in today's world.
Am I lining up for my H1N1 innoculation? No...but when the VA has it available I will get one....!
Great, you're a good American and deserve a H1N1 vaccine Donald. Of course you'll need a regular flu vaccine too since 36,000 people die each year from the flu in the US. In fact, many of them are vaccinated. The squalene in the H1N1 vaccine won't harm you. Everyone has squalene in their bodies. Oh, wait, there's all of that scientific evidence of severe illness caused by squalene injections... nah, that can't be true...
The theory that vaccines prevent the spread of infectious disease is based upon the belief that, by injecting a small amount of a disease into the body, it will develop "antibodies" that will prevent the injected person from contracting the disease against which he had been vaccinated.

Under this line of logic, alum is scheduled to be phased out and replaced with oil-based adjuvants such as squalene—an essential fatty acid derived from fish.
Donald, you can go research squalene on your own. Read about it while you're waiting in line for your vaccine, and remember, the WHO, CDC and NIH provided you with NONE of this information.

No Donald, they are reputable scientific researchers in the field of vaccine research and none of it is unfound data. It's like Agent Orange, denied for years that it produced a serious problem but it did, and like tobacco, denied for years that it produced a serious problem, but it did, and like depleted uranium, denied for years that it produces a serious problem, but it does, and like Aspartame, denied for years that it is an endocrine disruptor but the evidence clearly suggests it is a poison.
