 Daily Whine & Shine - April 11, 2008

Whether you agree with the concept or not, everyone needs to be able to vent from time to time. That's especially true if you're one of the many who suffer from an invisible illness. We have whines and rants about pains, medical professionals and prescriptions, just to name a few. Perhaps our families listen; perhaps they don't. Even if they do, they get tired of our complaining, even if they claim to understand our constant struggles. Or if they don't get tired of our "negative energy" we think they do or will.

 

 

You have arrived!  You didn't mean to be here?  Well, sit a spell anyway.  Surely you have something that makes you want to yell, scream, jump up and down and yell, "Oh shuckie darn!"

But I'm betting you also have at least one thing that makes you smile, giggle, or shout, "Yippee skippy!"

Do share!  Joys and concerns welcome here.

I'd like to whine about my utilities bill. I knew moving into a six bedroom house would be a change, but my utilities have DOUBLED. Geez....

I can't whine about too much right now. Well, getting used to the new features on Gather is a little whine, but overall I think I'm gonna like it.

Do NOT like the new Gather, hope they change it immediately.

This sounds mean, but I am dumping those who I consider "harmful" and do not want in my life any longer. Not to worry, it's no one here and it's only a few people.

I am doing well in writing, but want to get the book going.

Like many others on Gather, I have numerous medical problems that aren't readily obvious to others but that cause me lots of frustration and inconvenience and just generally drive me nuts. However, I like to enjoy life to the fullest with volunteer work, animal rescue, studying Spanish, day trips, church, and more. As for the new Gather, I don't like it so far but I hope it will get better.

I feel blah today. The last couple days I felt sick to my stomach and today I feel like I am getting a cold.

I am sick and tired of my neighbors, ugh!

And I'm in pain!

On the other hand, I have alot to be thankful for! :)

If anything else comes up, I'll be baaackk! Thanks for letting me vent. This was mild, lol!

I think i can complain all day long about this new gather...and then the power is out at work, only using a generator...ya they are slowly losing power i have had to move a second time cause my computer just went out..hahaha what a lovely day and its only 10am

I am having a pretty good day. My brother and his wife are coming from Chicago to visit and we are celebrating my sons 2nd birthday this weekend. I am cleaning house, just taking a small break.

A little while ago, my bunny Chelsea had a fit of something -- I couldn't tell if it was a series of sneezes or a seizure. I have to have it checked out, but I am hoping she is okay!

I whine because I cant find my friends on gather anymore. I cant find the article you were talking about on your mass email. I havent gotten the gather newsletter. I never do. I dont sign out of gather. I dont have to sign back in that way.

Im just lost and im about to give up. I feel bad because I cant find a dang thing on here and the last few days I have not been feeling well and alot has been going on in my personal life and I really have not been on here. I didnt even know I was member of the day the other day, until I finally turned on the pc and seen that I had 191 e-mails. Im about to give up, pull my hair out, and run screaming from my pc.
