Daily Whine & Shine - March 17, 2008
by Marilyn Mackenzie
Whether you agree with the concept or not, everyone needs to be able to vent from time to time. That's especially true if you're one of the many who suffer from an invisible illness. We have whines and rants about pains, medical professionals and prescriptions, just to name a few. Perhaps our families listen; perhaps they don't. Even if they do, they get tired of our complaining, even if they claim to understand our constant struggles. Or if they don't get tired of our "negative energy" we think they do or will.
So here you are at the Daily Whine & Shine. Welcome! Feel free to rant, stomp your feet, throw a tantrum or shout, "Oh shuckie darn!" Here that behavior is accepted.
It's also A-Okay to tell about the good times. Even in the midst of pain and trials, there are some good times. Okay, sometimes we have to look for them. But they're there. Be sure to share your victories and why you're wanting to shout, "Yippeee skippy!"

I hope your doing okay. How's your eye's? Has the medication helped?
I do hope your book made it to the printer on schedule.
Nothing much here, just a sore throat that won't go away. I'm getting tired of it. It's the second week. Grrrrrrrr!!
I would really like to wear something springy and purrrrty to church on Easter. At our church, we don't care about finery. But I do like getting dressed up sometimes.
