Today, March 10th, is my birthday! :^D
I think it's hilarious that the two famous people most mentioned that share my birthdate (month and day) are Chuck Norris and Sharon Stone... ROFLMBO! If I had the looks of Stone and the physique of Norris, I'd be "poopin' in tall cotton", as they say! (Well, that's sort of what they say, anyway. ;o) )
I always try to access the astrological "Your Birthday Today" sites, copy down what they say for my personal upcoming year (ini this case, 03/10/2009-03/10/2010), and consult it throughout the year. Today, most of the sites said that my "creative side" will be coming to the fore in this next year and one site specifically mentioned "photography"! (It would be cool to have that part of my "repertoire" highlighted this next year, fer sher!)
The full moon for March falls on my birthday today and so brings a lot of profound self re-evalution...
Note: The full moon always falls in the sign that is opposite to the one the Sun is in at the time. The "Sun Sign" being the sign of the Zodiac in force at that time. Like, when you say you're "a Libra", that means Libra is the sign that the SUN was in at the time of your birth. And, if a full moon happens during that time, it will ALWAYS be in the sign of ARIES -- the opposite sign of Libra.
I am, of course, a Pisces; however, at the time I was born (several Geological Epochs ago...), the constellation on the "ascendant" ("rising sign") was Sagittarius (a "Fire Sign") and 3 major planets were all in the sign of Aries (Mars, Venus and Mercury), another "Fire Sign"; therefore, this lends a lot of "fire" to my personality and makes me far more outgoing than most Pisces are. The Moon was in the very practical sign of Capricorn when I was born, too, and this influence makes me a lot more practical than most Pisces, as well.
One thing I read today in Jill Phillips' "How Stuff Works" astrological column (http://entertainment.howstuffworks.com/march-10-birthday-astrology.htm) about people born on March 10th really struck a chord with me. It said:
A Pisces born on March 10 has an attitude. They know how to draw the spotlight and usually manage to keep it on themselves for as long as they choose. Although they display a flirty, semi-serious personality, there's considerable grit beneath the surface. They can take care of themselves and will never let anyone get the better of them.
That's me all over! :^D
Numerologically, my name number is "5" -- the natural actor, talker and writer of numerology -- but, my "Life Path Number" (numerological birthdate number) is "22".
The numbers of "11" and "22" (indeed, ALL of the "double numbers", i.e., "33", "44", etc.) are called "Mastery Numbers" and "22" is referred to as "The Master Builder" or "The Architect".
In a recent posting (one of those silly "lists" things), I realized that I'd indicated that the "Best Thing About Me" was my ability to "engineer solutions using available materials" -- that's something you'd EXPECT a "22" to say!
Another "birthday" thing I was looking at this morning was "divination using regular playing cards". (I'd looked this up some time ago but had forgotten...) In this form of divination, each day of the year is assigned a playing card from a normal deck of cards.
People born on March 10th are assigned the King of Diamonds as are people born on the 2nd of July, the 4th of June, the 6th of May, the 8th of April, the 12th of February and the 14th of January. (You can look yours up at: http://www.cafeastrology.com/playingcardsbirthdaychart.html)
The weird thing is that my best friend (for the past 40 years or so) is ALSO a King of Diamonds, having been born on July 2nd!
Strange, huh? :o)
The suit of Diamonds (according to the above website) has the following meaning:
Practical, down-to-earth, analytical, materialistic, resourceful. Diamonds are the suit of the physical, material world. They assess the world around them on the level of the five senses. They can be overly attached to money and to possessions. In order to find value in life, they look at things, people, and situations in terms of how useful they are.
And "Kings":
Kings are proud, willful, and authoritative. They are creative people who have a sense of the dramatic. They have strong executive ability and they naturally take the lead. If used negatively, they can be demanding, bossy, impatient, impulsive, and rebellious.
Well... A LOT of that is true!
I DO think in terms of "usefulness" about a lot of things, I DEFINITELY have flair for the dramatic (theatre arts major) and, in vocational testing, I was rated very high in "executive ability". I have been known to be bossy (in my younger years), am ALWAYS "rebellious" and pretty darned impulsive, as well (I enter into evidence my FOUR marriages, Your Honor! LOL!), but I really am NOT "overly attached to money and possessions". (At least I don't think of myself that way... No... I'm really NOT at all...) So most of those descriptions are right and a little bit is wrong.
For those who simply have to know ("inquiring minds" and all that ;o) ), I am celebrating my 56th birthday today. (OMG! OMG! O-M-G!!!) ;^D
Yes, I was born in 1953 about 30 miles from where I now live here in Northern California. In my life, I've lived a LOT of other places (Texas, North and South Carolinas, etc.) but I've never found a place as beautiful as here in Sonoma County...
Anyway, for those who feel so inclined, I'd love to have your good birthday wishes (the bad ones, you can keep to yourself, thank-you... ROFL!) and the main reason I'm posting this is because a few people were mad at me last year when I didn't "allow [them] the opportunity" of wishing me a "happy birthday" on my "special day"...
So, that is all... At ease... Dismissed. ;o)
luv,
jean, just the teensiest bit odd, f.
(I've included with this article a very simplified version of my natal chart for those who are so inclined... jean)

I just got the newsletter from the historical society where I am president. The Luther Burbank's Farm Advisory Committee had a meeting that I didn't get to attend and, according to the newsletter, one of the Farm Committee members moved that, because I had a lot of really great photos I took of Burbank's Farm online, I should be given $50 in order to get them printed and put into a "Farm Through the Seasons" photoalbum!!!
I guess it's already starting!!! (**whistles eerily**)
