Just now, I was coming up the freeway from running an errand and I caught a glimpse of the moon coming up over the Macaymas Mountains to the east...
IT WAS HUGE! I don't know if it's completely "full" tonight but it was ENORMOUS!
Which reminded me that I took a photo of the moon LAST night just as the sun was going down:
But, I SWEAR, the moon tonight looked TWICE that size!

hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Your pictures are lovely.
We've got that haze around it here - witches moon.
For me and my gals.
You are so WELCOME, Susan! Glad you got to see it!
Oh, yes, my dear Sharon... All us wiccan-types are "Children of Diana"... <|:^)
Thanks, MA! Do!
Thanks so much, Rose!
Also, my dog is totally weirded out. Pacing and nervous. I wonder if he can feel the earthquake aftershocks.
That could very well be, Andrea... Animals are very sensitive to shifts within the earth, that's for sure...
Great shot, though!
But of course, that doesn't really matter. What matters are the thoughts and feelings such a thing evokes. It is a magical thing to see, innit?
That's too bad, Jennifer... Hope the pic helped a little!
Evidently I have, Roger! ...lol...
Absolutely, Pat!
I love the pictures you posted with this Jean!
and the moon sees me
I love the moon
and the moon loves me! (old rhyme from long ago)
Jean I was able to see that beauty last night, thanks.
So true, Jennifer!
I'm glad you did, Pepsie!
I am honored, Lilith!
Perhaps you didn't catch it when it was first rising, Ron... It did look smaller later on...
