God comes down in every generation, to explain personally since explanation face to face has its own merit of clarity always. Souls differ from each other, - Madhva established this point. In minute samskaras souls differ, so that no soul resembles another. In all minute attitudes, like two electrons differ in spin quantum number. You cannot be equal to Arjuna in all minute details of your samskaras. Hence if you are in the place of Arjuna, you might have asked some more different questions based on your minute channels of attitudes. If any soul is in place of Arjuna, Gita will certainly differ here and there. Therefore, every soul needs explanations personally from God, but the exposure to God is in higher levels of spirituality only.

Till the higher levels are attained, His assistants cater to lower levels. In the lower levels, masses exist and very few exist in higher levels. Shankara argued with top scholars, He did not give public speeches. Krishna preached Gita only to Arjuna, He did not preach in meetings. He did not invite sages to attend so that all can hear Gita. The best identity mark for God in human form is dislike for fame. In upper world, He is already bored with fame and majority.

i agree with sigal, life is divine and the greatest way we can give thanks to G-D for creating us, for giving us life... is to protect life.

The word Bhoga by its root meaning is taken as the meaning for even the basic enjoyment like eating food. If you do not eat food how can you serve the God? Veda says that such basic enjoyment should be done (Bhunjeedhah…..). This is the Yogic meaning (meaning obtained from the word) of the word Bhoga. But in Rudhi (general usage), the word Bhoga means the over enjoyment of worldly pleasures, which leads to Roga (illness). This is proved by medical science also. If you become ill how can you serve God and please Him? Such Bhoga should be left. Tyaga (leaving) of such Bhoga will make you healthy and enable you to please God (Yoga).

Veda refers to such leaving of over enjoyment (Tena Tyaktena …..). Bhoga is based on the concept of intensive love on a co-human being or a worldly item. The process of such intensive love is good because God will be also pleased by such intensive love (Moha) only. The object of such Moha should be replaced by God. A person is running very fast in the opposite direction. Only the direction has to be changed but the fast running is appreciable. By such fast running only he will reach the goal quickly. Therefore, the basis of Bhoga, which is Moha should be retained and by the spiritual knowledge the object only should be changed. Thus, the essence of Bhoga, which is Moha will certainly lead to Yoga or attainment of grace of God.

Bilhana was going in a forest immersed in the memory of his darling. He touched a sage by his foot by mistake. The sage was meditating upon God. The sage became angry to curse him. But Bilhana asked, "I am thinking about my darling and I did not know that my foot touched you. But, you are immersed in the memory of God like me and how you are aware of the touch?" The sage realized and directed Bilhana to God. The sage learnt the Moha from Bilhana. Thus both were blessed by God.

The attraction to the worldly bond can be directly transformed into attraction to God. There is no need of achieving the detachment from the worldly attraction. The detached soul cannot have the attachment again because the soul is habituated to the continuous detachment only. Suppose a student is reading novels and not the class books. The reading-habit is good. You have to replace the novels by class books. This can be achieved by proper and talented counseling.

Suppose you give sleeping tablets to him so that he will stop reading the novels. By this the student is not reading novels because he is always sleeping. Now after this stage if you ask him to read the textbooks, he will refuse, because he is habituated to sleep only without reading. Similarly, if you bring the soul to complete detachment form the worldly bonds, it is very difficult to develop attachment to God. In Advaita philosophy such detachment is achieved by which the soul becomes inert like the tree or a stone. The devotion cannot be generated in such rock.

The attraction to the world can be taken as the training of development of the very process of attraction. But the worldly attraction should take a turning point on one day and should be transformed into divine attraction. If the training is continuous for the whole life, there is no meaning of such training because the re-human birth is very rare and it means almost impossible. Moreover, the attraction to the world is accumulated form millions of births and it is very difficult to bring down the attraction to zero. Instead of this, it will be easy to replace the world by God. Any way, even after bringing the attraction to zero you have to again raise it to the sky. Therefore, conversion of the worldly attraction to God is easy and also desirable.

If you ask the mother to cut her bond with her child, it is impossible. It is easy to replace her child by Krishna. In fact, the Moha etc are created only to help you in spiritual path. You have diverted it to the world and misused it. Now you say that Moha is a bad quality. Moha in its original aim of creation is a good quality. You have made it bad by giving wrong direction to it. Shri Ramanuja says that the relationship between God and a real devotee is "Bhogya-Bhoktru Sambandha", which means that God is the enjoyable item (Bhogya) and the devotee is enjoyer (Bhokta). The enjoyment of God is the real Bhoga.

If a faith is strong, surely it will be strong enough to sustain the words of others who do not entirely agree with you. To believe, however, that you have all the answers and that everyone should fit in with your beliefs is surely a high pedestal to be standing on, a pedestal of arrogance. No one person has the wisdom of the world; wisdom comes from many sources, from words overheard in a shop, words read on a wall, a brief conversation with a stranger.

If one criticize with some substantial point then one can answer. Without any substantial point if somebody criticize then leave it. Several people criticized Jesus in His life time, even the priests criticized Him. But they did not come with substantial points. So if there is substantial point in the criticism then it is welcomed. Then we must attend to it and we must supply the answer and must enter into the discussion. You may be right or I may be wrong. Why should I say that I am right and you are wrong? Let us discuss, and if you are right then I will accept your point. If I am right then you accept mine. Both of us are only co-operating with each other, the common aim is to find out the Truth. Not the question of you are right or I am right. Only important thing is: what is right. The quarrel comes when you tell that are you right or am I right. When the truth is super imposed on the person, the quarrel never ends. If in the discussion if one feels that he is going to be wrong and other person is going to be right, then he will never end the discussion. You may think, Oh I am going to be wrong and my opponent is going to be right, then such attitude comes then there is no end of the discussion. Truth is neither related to you or related to me. I have told something, you have told something. Either your point must be correct or my point must be correct. Suppose there is no possibility of a third point. What ever point seem to be right in the discussion, we both will accept. It is not the question of your point or my point. It is not a house restored by me or it is not the house restored by you.

We are putting the mutual effort to find out the truth. A single brain sometimes gets mis lead. When you discuss with somebody then some new angles are opened. Sometimes the new point from the other person may open our mind and we may find that our point is wrong and his point may be right. Then without any prejudice we will accept the truth. Because our intension is not to prove ourself as right or the other person as wrong. Our intention should be only to find out the truth through shrewd analysis, with the help of somebody. We also should have this attitude. Then only the discussion will proceed in the right path.

When ever a minister takes his post, he performs an oath. We must take this as the oath, for discussion. Somebody is critising without any substantial argument, then it means he is having jealousy against us. Due to jealousy he is critising. If he is telling that you are wrong etc, in this no relevant point has come other than words used to show the jealousy! Only his jealousy is expressed. So what one can answer to such person? His intention is not to find out the truth. His intention is only to discourage you and to scold you. When Jesus was in the court those priest were just blaming Him. They were not coming out with real points with scriptures. Such and such points are in the scriptures, why you are modifying it. Let us discuss. Like that those priests were not coming. They simply critisized Jesus, you are revolting against scriptures; you are revolting against Rome empire. Their attitude was only to kill Jesus. Not to discuss the knowledge with Jesus, that is why Jesus kept silent. He never answered to the Governor also who asked why are you keeping silent, why don't you reply? He kept silent, because there is no substantial point on the other side. Their aim was only to kill Him. Not to discuss the knowledge and know the truth. That is why He kept silent.
