Euro has recently hit a new all-time high and this prompted me to look back and see how my forecasts on the Euro have played out. The purpose of this is two-fold: one- is for me to verify whether my techniques work and two- for the readers to realize that there is indeed a correlation between currencies and the movement of the planets.
I am focused on the gold market but I find the foreknowledge of the direction of the Euro quite helpful. Euro after all was designed as a currency to counter the supremacy of the US Dollar. Strength in Euro vs. the USD is almost always translated into strength for gold.
The astrological chart for the Euro is well documented unlike that of the USD, different astrologers use different charts, and hence the results are not always the same. But this is not the case with the Euro - due to the fact that it's astrological birthday took place just a few years ago.
Capricorn Euro
Euro's astrological birthday is Jan 1, 1999. Its sun sign is Capricorn -the hardworking and conservative zodiacal sign. Capricorn is the sign of business and typically performs better as they age. Despite that and barely a decade old Euro has proven its strength. But as my forecast a year ago stated - the best is yet to come for the Euro. The rest of the decade is good Euro!
Bullish Euro
On June 2006, I wrote this:
Starting June 2006 up to the rest of the decade, Euro will enjoy positive aspects from Jupiter, the lucky planet and from Pluto, that planet of big business and power. Of course, there would be corrections along the way with Saturn aspecting Euro's chart every now and then but the general influence is bullish for Euro.
In order for readers to see that financial astrology works, I presented "tradable" forecasts, which can be used for short-term, intermediate or even long-term trading.
I wrote further:
Based on the Euro's chart, this month [June 2006] and next month [July 2006] would be the best time to accumulate Euro.
I intentionally used the word "accumulate" as the astrology of Euro says that this months would present a very significant long-term buying period.
From that low of about 124.5 in the Euro Index in June 2006 Euro rose to about 142 in early September 2007.
Timing short-term turning points can also be achieved with astrology.
On June 9, Jupiter will form a harmonious sextile with Euro's Sun. This may bring Euro above its current resistance level. However, Saturn will oppose Euro's Uranus on July 7 and Pluto will oppose its Moon in August 2. After that one full quarter will bring Euro up to new heights.
As implied from that statement the bullish trend since February 2006 will culminated with the June 9 Jupiter aspect. Selling into that high was a wise move.
More importantly, I was also able to pinpoint the length of that intermediate trend. After the weakness coming from the negative influences from July to August- Euro finally broke from its trading range in October launching Euro towards a 4th quarter rally sending it to about 133 in December 2006.
What’s Next for Euro?
The driver now for currencies is of course not dependent on the events in Euroland but rather on the weakness on the dollar. In my USD projections - the worst is still to come for the dollar in the intermediate term. Euro of course is to benefit from this- but for now Euro is oversold and may soon correct or build a base. The first half of October may present another period of accumulation.
