This "article" isn't an article really.
It's merely a shout-out to my post today at http://starsoverwashington.blogspot.com concerning the soon-to-be Full Moon of May 2 in relation to the White House (Oct 13, 1792), and the combination of Pluto (power, including power-behind-the-throne) and Chiron (the Wound; the blindspot, among other things); their keyword: plutocracy.
I won't post here the double chart which you'll find at Stars Over Washington, but I would like to mention the 2027-28 Return of Chiron to its Discovery Degree of "4 Taurus"...a degree which has this word picture/Sabian Symbol:
"A rainbow's pot of gold", keyword: FAITH.
This relates to the rewards which are guaranteed by an eternal covenant between the least of individuality and the universal matrix of life itself. There is...a promise of a treasure...at the end (from The Sabian Symbols in Astrology, by Dr. Marc Edmund Jones, available at www.amazon.com if you don't have it already.) The rainbow is, of course, a symbol of God's covenant with mankind not to destroy the earth by flood again.
Chiron, discovered in 1977, represents The Wounded Healer archetype in astrology.
The Pluto/Chiron duo, however, describes mankind's more vicious power-grabbing, manipulating tendencies and does not represent our finest hour. "Power that wounds" would be one basic interpretation. Oppression, class warfare, and racism are some other terms which the Pluto/Chiron pairing describe.
Anyway, if you get a chance, drop by SO'W, for the Full Moon--culmination of what was begun at the New Moon of April 17 (originally the day Alberto Gonzales was due to testify on Capitol Hill)--will soon arrive to shed light upon darkened places--including, we may suppose, the dingily-stained White House.

If you're in a hurry: you could check out Astrological Musings by Lynn Hayes, and Celeste Teal's website for a good start.
