Mercury Retrograde is a recurring phenomenon and astrologically it is very important as it can be both negative and positive at the same time. Others may encounter problem but to others Mercury retrograde can be used as a time for personal enrichment thru introspection and spirituality.
However, for electing the best time to launch big projects it would be wiser to avoid it during Mercury retrograde period (if you can). It would be a practical idea to be cautious when Mercury retrograde recurs.
