A REALLY REMARKABLE SYNCHRONICITY

               THE COINCIDENCES KEEP PILING UP

THE CONTEXT IN WHICH MY SYNCHRONICITY WAS EMBEDDED

So you understand the context in which this synchronicity occurred a brief summary of the article above is necessary.

In awe of Tiger Wood's superlative performance at the British Open I was in awe about his superlative performance winning the British Open to say nothing about his overall performance in general - I have tried in my article to describe in my previous article to spell out  my interpretation of his formula for success.

To this end I view his success from the perspective of a formula my psychoanalyst a periodically said to me over the period of an eleven year psychoanalysis, 3 sessions per week. His formula is Time = Libido.

It is assumed that linear time does not exist in reality but is a necessary and convenient construction for aiding human beings have some order to existence.

Libido is simply basic energy which is consciously or unconsciously directed to some end.I applied the time = libido formula to what I believe Tiger Wood's formula for success.

THE SYNCHRONICITY

As I was writing this article I had another one of those amazing synchronicities. Just as I was relating my analyst's formula time= libido to understanding Tiger Wood's formula for success I heard on an NPR program the following: " Wittenberg's device {utilized}as a diagnostic tool." Amazing? not unless you are informed that the name of my psychoanalyst was Rudolf Wittenberg.

Still stranger is the coincidence of  the enormous importance of Tiger Wood's father for him - no less the importance of my psychoanalyst's {my spiritual father} significance for me. 

MY INTERPRETATION

According to my research this {and all synchronicities} signal that a significant psychological problem has been resolved. This  resolution is expressed as a signicant shift of attitudes. To arrive at what the problem is one must identify what issues are most pressing. 

For me, the most pressing issue has been the necessity of immersing myself in learning as much as I can about the how to effectively market my anticipated to be published memoir: SMACK IN THE MIDDLE: MY ODYSSEY TREATING HEROIN ADDICTS IN THE SIXTIES - A MEMOIR.

Previously I have held myself back feeling uncomfortable about being embarrassed by potential negative judgments -  whether by others or myself -  that I am a purveyor of shameless promotion versus my understanding that even top notch publishers are requiring new authors to actively promote their book.

My solution is that if I believe in myself and in my work - which I do -  then I have a responsibility to get my message out. Getting the message out is called marketing. So while fame is not altogether unwanted it is secondary to getting world wide attention for my message. As my integrity has been and will continue to be a core value I have not wanted to sell myself out.

Viewing the desire for attention  not as an end in itself but as a vehicle for getting my message hear makes marketing acceptable to me.Marketing to me means a directed pathway to all those activities that aid in getting my message widely disseminated.

Synchronicities tend to be associated with an expansion of consciousness experienced as an increase of powers, and or harnessing those powers in a directed disciplined way.

In this connection, I am experiencing all of 'my planets in conjunction.' I feel as if I am on a path that is moving toward a crystal clear destination illuminated by endless rows of green lights.
