Hart Park is our favorite park in Bakersfield. It used to be quite popular back in the day and while it still get lots of visitors, it doesn't get as many as it used to (which I don't understand, it's so beautiful).
One of the things I really like about this park is all the Peacocks. There are loads of them! They are at the back of Hart Park, right by the Park Rangers home. Some live right by the Park Ranger's house, up in trees, on the ground and some live in a nearby creek. Whenever I go to Hart Park, I can't help but take pictures of the beautiful birds. The kids help by pointing out the ones that are well hidden and admire their beautiful feathers.
Here are some pictures my kids and I have taken while we've bird watched at Hart Park:

This is one of my all time favorite bird pictures that I've taken at Hart Park.

They like to hang around at Picnic areas too!

Do you think he looked both ways before crossing?

The kids loved seeing so many at one time!

The kids pointed this one out

Every time we go to Hart Park, the kids have two things they have to do. Feed the ducks and look for peacocks!
