I liked making stuff with salt clay when I was little. Just google salt dough or salt clay and there will be tons of recipes. Just look for salt on sale, and it makes it really economical and fun.
For twenty bucks I am making a game called ladder golf out of pvc that my daughter loves. We will spend hours playing it. My neighbor made a set last year and we loved it.
