Host a Baby Shower on Gather. Win a Gift Basket!

Do you have a friend or a loved one who is expecting? Gather invites you to throw a baby shower for her in the Moms2B group. Just post an article to Moms2B and have a chat within the comment thread with your family and friends to celebrate!

Gather is also giving you a chance to get fabulous gifts as well! If you are hosting a friend or family member's baby shower in Moms2B in March or April, you will be entered for a chance to win a fabulous prize. Gather will provide one lucky mom whose shower was hosted in March and April with a baby shower gift basket. And as a special thank you for being the shower host, we will send a gift to you as well!


Do you need help with putting together a live chat for a baby shower?

1. Publish an article for the chat to take place:

  • Log into Gather
  • Click the blue "Publish" tab at the top of the page. Select "Publish an article"
  • Include the details of the chat in the article title (who, what, where, when)
  • Tell us who's baby shower you are celebrating in the body of the article
  • Add images (optional)
  • Publish to the Moms2B group
  • Select the orange "Publish" button at the bottom of the page
2. After you publish your article, invite your family and friends to join the chat! They must be a registered Gather members to comment.

3. REFRESH your view to see new comments. You can refresh by using the refresh button on your browser, or the F5 key on your keyboard, or through the Ctrl+R key(on Windows) or CMD+R (On Mac) key combination.

Sounds interesting.. So when do we do it? Just any time in March or April?

How do we do the actualy baby shower part.. will it just be a chat or do we send gifts or what exactly.. Im a bit confused I guess.. Yes I have an excuse iM pregnant as well :)

I had one and it was a lot of fun! I'd enter this one but I feel lucky that I had the first one and got so many great things! Plus there are so many other pregnant ladies on here who would really enjoy one! Check out my article section if you want to see what I got!

Tiffany, all you need to do is post an article in March or April and have a chat within it like you might have at a baby shower with your friends and family. You don't need to send gifts -- just talk to your family and friends about the updates with your pregnancy and your plans for the baby. Have fun with it!

Nice idea! I know a few friends who are expecting, but I don't think I can get them to join Gather. I always have such bad luck getting people to sign up to the programs I am in.
