"Sunny days! The earliest episodes of “Sesame Street” are available on digital video! Break out some Keebler products, fire up the DVD player and prepare for the exquisite pleasure-pain of top-shelf nostalgia.
Just don't bring the children. According to an earnest warning on Volumes 1 and 2, 'Sesame Street: Old School' is adults-only: 'These early Sesame Street episodes are intended for grown-ups, and may not suit the needs of today's preschool child."
Has anyone seen this? Aside from the writing in this article cracking me up, I'm incredibly confused...

Ok, so Oscar was grouchy. My son, at 18 months, thought that was hysterical. Yes, the Cookie Monster ate too many cookies. So? We used that as a teaching moment.
So here I am scratching my head and wondering if I shouldn't buy these just to take another look.
*steps off soapbox*
It's hilarious and sad, all at the same time.
No matter what we are watching, if my son has questions, I answer them.
Carla, same here, my parents spent time WITH me watching shows and doing things OTHER than watching tv, and I do the same with my girls. I know there are a lot of people out there who are limited by time in their lives, but really, what can that time be better vested in, than our kids?
*shrug*
I think people just like to gripe.
Thanks for the comments, guys.
