Not Britney this this time - the other Spears mom, Lynne Spears has just signed an agreement with Christian publisher, Thomas Nelson, to write a parenting memoir.  The book will be about raising high profile children (Britney and lil sis Jamie Lynn) while coming from a low profile Louisiana town.

With all the trouble her daughter has gotten into, I'm not sure this woman should be paid to give advice, particularly by a Christian publisher....

Is there anyone else whose parenting book you would not want to read?

I pretty much agree with all those said so far. Can't think of anyone else off the top of my head but I am sure there are more out there.

Not a parent, but if I were I certainly would not buy it. I could probably write a book on parenting and give advice on same and I am not even a parent!!!! :)

Wow! I'd be curious which Christian publisher took her on. They're usually pretty strict!

I would have to think twice about reading anything by that publisher after knowing this. It does not show good judgement on their part.

What the _____????????????? If they had any Christian values - they wouldn't need to be writing a book about it!! Give me a break!!! What a scam!!! Like they need more money- give me a book deal & I'll tell you how to raise children in a loving, nurturing, Christian way - for 1/2 the price --- Sheesh- my blood is boiling now!!!!

I will be adding that guy's name to my list of SKANKY people!!!
