Breaking news flash -- parents in shock as day care exposed as a front.
Teachers reportedly used songs as a method of indoctrinating toddlers at "training camp".
A training session
The full, sordid details have yet to emerge, but the story began to break after one parent questioned her child about daily activities at the center. Upon being informed that the child spent the day singing, the inquisitive parent asked the child what songs he enjoyed. Little did the parent suspect the full extent of the deception practiced at what was previously considered one of the finest establishments in Weehawken, NJ.
Here's what the parent heard:
Old MacDonald had a farm
O E O E O
Clearly, the child was being taught the marching song for the guards of the Wicked Witch of the West (Oh ee oh, ee oh-ho).

When questioned about the song, the child insisted that O E O E O was the only acceptable way to sing, and that E I E I O was incorrect. The child further asserted that the proper way to dance to this song was to march through the entire house, and demanded that his parents follow along.
Parents appeared stunned as they dropped their children off at the center, which remained open today. "I thought the flying monkeys were pets," said one parent, known only as Harry's Dad. "They were useful for delivering notes to parents, but I did wonder why they didn't just use email instead."

What next?!?! Trips to the poppy field for naptime??
The marching does seem like the result of brainwashing. Is it time to hire a deprogrammer? I hope not.
I have a question. Is the training camp free? Because if it is I'll be enrolling mine shortly. Weehawken is just over the bridge, right?
I made the mistake of complaining to them. I was angry but managed not to sound insane. The result was that my car got egged several times a week and there was this one kid who would come up to my wife and say things like "bitch." I threatened the kid and he stopped harassing my wife. The eggings continued till we moved.
Wendy, the training camp, alas, is not free. They do provide lunch & snacks, though.
Jackie, only if Morris Day does a whole lot of marching.
Mugg, I can say this only because I grew up in Kansas and moved to points east for college & beyond. We're not in Kansas any more.
Were the little girls given ruby slippers? Or amethyst slippers? Or whatever matched their ensemble that day. It's all about the shoes, people!
Sheesh.
From what I remember about my daughter at that age she already knew the importance of shoes and expressed herself forcefully on the subject.
It must be some type of secrecy when they are sitting around in a circle and quietly listening.
