what does it say about me, as a mother,
that BOTH of my children were asleep as
the new year rolled in?! have a safe and
blessed new year! and may your own
toddler(s) and/or tween(s) understand
your need for "me" time this year.

Happy New Year
We used to "go out" party hardy years ago but, stopped when the kids were about the same age as yours. Instead we stayed home and fixed a HUGE New Years Eve feast. We wanted to start a new tradition so we GRILLED. Imagine grilling in a snow storm with -20F temps? Hubby would sip brandy, while he stood in the garage freezing his whatevers off...but we laughed, smiled and ate like oinkers.
And you got after me for sticking the camera in my dogs/cats faces all the time? Leave those sleeping children ALONE for gosh sakes!
larry, my daughter has about 200+ beads in her hair! you can hear her coming two rooms away!
yes we do, tomi and i plan on getting a lot more of it this year!
thank you, sara! the same for you!
awww janet! im sorry to hear that youre not feeling well. get some rest and take care of yourself.
thank you, lynn! and that sounds like me before i became a mother. so instead of clubbin', its spoons banging on pots and pans to bring in my new year. and i prefer it that way!
thank you, linda!
shannon, i swear i made them lay down, if only for a hour, just to get a break before midnight rolled in. i even left dick clark rockin' on the tv. but when i went to get them dressed they were KNOCKED OUT and dick was rockin by himself! i didnt even turn on the lights to take the pictures.
thank you so much, fran! happy new year!
i try to be, sandra and they WERE so peaceful. i hated to wake them.
lol james! i dont worry much about being awoke when the new year comes in either. father time will march on without us.
thank you, susan! and please dont make me cry! = )
nana, you know you LOVE having them over. so, see you spring break?!
happy new year, visionaerie! i wasnt too far from counting my own sheep after i took the photos.
definitely, james!
thank you, sheila!
thank you, charlene! i try my best!
Just one question though......What is "me" time? That is not in my vocabulary LOL
